Late to this but, it truly only gets better from here. There will need to be a season or movie to wrap up part 1 of Boruto (this will feed generations) and then it will jump into TBV after. TBV has genuinely been 10/10 peak since release, it's unbelievable how good it is despite all the outdated hate it gets

I know I'm super late, but the "new" dojutsu introduced in this episode works like sharingan, the more little triangles (like sharingan's tomoe) appear in Kawaki's eye means the better he handles the dojutsu, isshiki got all 8 triangles means he already had perfect control over it, but kawaki here clearly needs more time. PS: are you guys going to react to all boruto openings now? There are several great ones too, from KANABOON （Silhouette, etc）and Ikimonogakari (blue bird, etc).

Like other people have said, don't read two blue vortex yet. I did (only 15 chapters, I stopped) and it was great and I can't wait, but the shock value and epicness really can only be felt by the anime. I waited until just a couple months ago to bite the bullet and see what was in store! It was great, but I wish I would have let the mystery linger a bit longer until the anime begins again. However, reading past manga chapters we've already seen in Boruto part 1 were very entertaining to read and helped me retain the information better. You can also see how badly the anime animated some fights (I'm looking at you Delta v Naruto) < still a fan though.

Naruto and Sasuke can still hang with Code at this point, but the actual threat Kawaki feared was Code getting his limiters off because it will give him power that surpasses Jigen. This whole situation is crazy because we have Boruto who has momoshiki inside of him that wants to wreak havoc. We have Kawaki who will actually go to the lengths of killing his loved ones without hesitation if they stand against Naruto. We have Code who has powerful allies and the potential to be a jigen level threat, then whatever Amado is trying to accomplish by giving Kawaki a karma

The biggest problem that Boruto has is that all the old characters have become basically irrelevant. The only ones that matter are Boruto, Kawaki and Kara's cyborgs. Neither the Jonins of the Leaf or the previous Hokages are even invited to the fight. Training has become almost irrelevant at this point. Remember the times when a powerful ninja squad could give trouble to an Akatsuki member? 🥹

So the studio announced that part 2 is in production since 2024 and it will become seasonal like bleach or black clover because its the same studio. Bleach final cour comes out this month, then black clover in october and most likely in juli or october 2027 boruto anime comes back

I have said this before, pple called boruto boring unfairly,, the reason Naruto was not boring was because, the story followed naruto who had nothing, and began with suffering and we watched his story as he tried to win in life, Boruto was born with no suffering coz it would not have made sense if, coz what the hell would have been the point of shippuden if the next generation did not benefit from the sacrifices of naruto, i love how the story was slow at first, since the point is boruto should be living a normal life after naruto's sacrifices, and that is what pple called boring, ita makes sense how boruto had to have everything , friends, family, a life in the village, since naruto worked hard for it, so now the prophecy says he will lose it all, i love Kishimoto's approach to naruto and Boruto's (part) stories

There's still about 9 chapters left to release from the manga before two blue vortex, and its by far the best arc ever in Boruto so we may get a movie before the drop of two blue vortex anime which adapts that and would make more sense because they stopped it when it could be put into like 6 episodes

Basically the conversation between boruto and momoshiki it means that boruto already had 80% percent of the outsutskification so the rest of it which is 20% percent it was meant to extracted but Momoshiki rewrite the rest of 20% percent to save boruto and fix his wounds instead of resurrection momoshiki bc momoshiki will die too if he didn’t do that

The Boruto "Shippuden" aka True Blue Vortex ups the anti more than the original ever did. This show did start slow and they admit that. The next step is some top tier manga writing and only true haters dislike it.

This sequence of Boruto vs Kawaki was just like the beginning of Naruto vs Sasuke final fight 14:13-14:20. Boruto as Naruto and Kawaki as Sasuke. Even down to the fire style (14:20) just like Sasuke did. Love all the OG Naruto/Shippuden throwbacks and homages throughout Boruto. What a peak ending Michelle - Momoshiki was only talking about Boruto when he said “Those blue eyes” not anyone else I think this is Shikamaru and Naruto’s first real argument. I absolutely don’t blame Naruto at all even as Hokage. Dude literally lost his son and even through all of that he still his love for Kawaki and sees him as family. This was a great journey, can’t wait till this returns. See y’all at Boruto Shippuden lol

When the Boruto anime comeback (on hiatus due to wanting to give it better animation and overall production bc the story is about to Take a HUGE turn in seriousness ) it won’t be Two vortex yet, there still 12-14 chapters of the nng that hasn’t been animated yet and honestly the coldest arc of NNG (hence the hiatus bc of it’s importance ). Btw Boruto TBV has been the number 1 hottest manga for the last 3 and a half years (since its release) with the only competition being one peice, so yeah just let that sink in and excite u for what’s coming next. Boruto manga haters switched up and jhene aiko ,nba players, meg the stallion and ishowspeed has openly gassed the new manga just can’t wait for the entire anime fandom to whenever it comes back. (Just want yall to know what to look forward too).

The ending is different from manga but honestly it's perfect to end season 1 . I hope they will animate final chapter in season 2 at least as a throwback. Can't wait for Two Blue Vortex next year

The craziest thing bout Boruto NNG 1 is that it features the longest flashback in the anime. The haters never understood how Bort's char developed throughout season 1 & they're caught up in their own illusions about the og chars. I can't wait for the next season of the Boruto anime with R&G.. There's a good chance the anime will return 2027/2028 at the latest with top-notch quality from the studio (the studio has promised as much)

I remember watching Naruto and Shippuden and then dropping it around the war arc because i had gotten spoiled on everything and I was watching all of the filler, I decided to pick up the Boruto anime but got disinterested after a couple episodes, then a while later I decided to pickup the Boruto manga. I remember I read the entire manga, in a few days because the time skip series was about to start and I loved the story, I've kept up with two blue vortex since it's creation which is almost 3 years ago, I wish you guys were able to react to manga because it is so much fun reading a chapter every month and seeing how it affects the rest of the series and interacting with the manga community. That's why I personally like Boruto better than Naruto, something about being apart of the community while the manga is currently airing is special, but I can't wait until two blue vortex gets animated, many people will switch up on their hate of Boruto.

Y’all are so goated for ignoring all the haters and actually giving this series a chance I’m so glad y’all liked it and actually understood the story, also the last part of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations and the on going Two Blue Vortex manga is confirmed in production by Studio Pierrot and is rumored to announce a release date or premiere window as soon as late 2026 or 2027 also it is said to be a seasonal anime rather than a weekly anime to improve animation quality so that means we can be expecting a boost in animation when the anime returns and let me say TBV is one of the best new gen mangas in the game right now I’m sure you two will love it when it releases sometime in the future!

The endings for anime and manga are different but both respectively good. Id recommend you read the manga to see the ending and its build up since it answers the question the what happens in the beginning of ep.1

What momoshiki to boruto said is basically that he can’t take controll of boruto body unless boruto allows it.

In the anime they didn't explain very well the Karma thing like in the manga so I'll explain literally what the manga says (No Spoilers don't worry): So basically Boruto's Karma at that point had already extracted 82% of Momoshiki's data which meant that once the remaining 18% had extracted, Momoshiki would have fully resurrected. Obviously if Boruto died that wouldn't have been possible cause Momoshiki would've died too since he's inside Boruto. So Momoshiki had no choice but to have Boruto's data be that 18% so that the cells and tissues that Boruto lost from Kawaki's attack could be fabricated anew. This essentially means that Momoshiki used parts that were meant for his body to revive Boruto. And that remaining 18% that was used for Boruto is what Momoshiki will always be missing for his resurrection, that's why he can't even hope to revive anymore. This is quite literally the explanation from the manga almost word for word btw. Also even if Momoshiki can't revive, he can still possess Boruto's body.

Love these episodes! There's one more arc before the time skip and it's the best arc! If Boruto comes back in 2027 too, that year is going to be so stacked

Hopefully 2027. The reason they stopped is because the manga and anime caught up to eachother so instead of killing it with more filler they took a hiatus. And since its a monthly manga its been 3 years but only 30 something chapters are out. Hopefully it comes back as seasonal anime after bleach first finishes

I would reccommend not read the manga. The anime will be back soon, and its better to experience a "specific something" in the story. Imo, its one of the best, if not the best, in the whole naruto/boruto series. Edit: By soon, I actually meant 2027 😂 since almost every anime gets released once per year.

So the Karma thing - essentially, the karma is 100% of Momoshiki’s data, and as it fully decompresses, it overwrites Boruto. If Boruto were to die, Momoshiki would die along with him and never be able to reincarnate. Momoshiki decided to rewrite the last remaining portion of the Karma that hadn’t finished decompressing with Boruto’s data to reconstruct his body. The idea is that now the Karma is fully decompressed however it’s 90% Momoshiki’s data and 10% Boruto’s data. (The exact percentages are unclear but irrelevant). Now, Momoshiki’s cannot reincarnate using Boruto as a vessel, because he needed Boruto to be 100% overwritten. But now he is only 90% rewritten, and the process has finished. But momoshiki made the decision that at least this way he is still alive in some capacity, within Boruto, rather than his soul being entirely extinguished.

The ending scene of kawaki and boruto after kawaki wakes up didn't happen in the manga. It was just the choice of the studio to end it like that .
