Catching up with your uploads! I've never seen these episodes, only read the manga back in the day, but I see what you mean Ron. It reads very differently than being watched, I think. The little vignettes of all the character's lives don't feel as "draggy" in chapter form vs dedicating whole episodes to what feel like "side stories." There are little details dropped to keep you going (Shigure saying "Can you hear it? The sound of breaking?" was such an ominous line in the manga so I'm glad it was here also). I keep seeing comments saying it'll pick up at the end and 3rd season so I'm hopeful!!

yeah, Ron's not wrong in that season 2 does have a few dud episodes that slow down everything, but the episodes that focus on Rin or Momiji always make it worth it, especially the last episode and this one. The episodes featuring them make season 3 (which is half as short thankfully) really worth sticking to it too 😊
