The tutorial is over, now the show truly begins! This must be the 8th ot 9th time for me watching HNI and every time I get hyped to start training again.. By following your Ippo-journey it might be easier to stay with it this time around ^^'
In the end, it was Miyata's complete confidence in his victory, and Ippo's desperate flash of brilliance, that led to Ippo's win. While Miyata did take Ippo seriously in this match, in that last round, he was so convinced of his own victory that he lost concentration for a split second, giving Ippo that blink-and-you'll-miss-it opportunity. Even then, Miyata's reflexes are so good that he almost dodged it. Then again, any sport is a game of "almost" and he was on the wrong end of "almost" this time around. Ippo certainly made a believer out of Fuji lol
Don鈥檛 be dissin Miyata bros. The God of boxing spoked. He said if it weren鈥檛 for Miyata鈥檚 Talant to evade that uppercut in the last moment any other boxer would鈥檝e been a disaster. I can鈥檛 wait to see this Rivalry built up.
Dang this so episode went by so fast.

If Messi never discovered Football then Ronaldo would be the best player in the world 馃憖
haha
As someone with a career that involves measuring the skills and abilities of others, and given that I have been listening to and watching you talk for about a year now, I would agree with you, Ron. You have skill with public speaking, but I would argue it is a little more nuanced, and I would say you actually have a better-than-most knack at being authentic, relatable, engaging, motivational, and emotionally intelligent, which are actually the driving abilities or competencies behind your strong public speaking skills. Just thought I would share my professional opinion. Fun as always.
yoooo this was dope to read and a huge compliment thanks bro!
nah we can't slander Miyata. I think the point of that fight was to show Miyata is 1000% the better fighter and would win 10/10 times... but ippos instincts and destructive power are enough to keep him in the fight and always have a chance. its kind of like how deonatay wilder knocked down tyson fury many times and even proably shouldve won the first fight. But it was clear he was a much worse boxer that only had god given power... fury won the next two by domination of course.
Miyata is a literal prodigy
My natural talent is math. Going to school I barely tried and understood everything being taught. College I took college algebra, calculus, limits, trig and never went to lectures and breezed through it with no difficulty. Most people really struggled. However I was a weak reader most of my life until I watched a bunch of anime lol.
The Miyata slander is crazy lmao
Me watching the comments after that 馃
I agree Ron. Best sports anime ever!
