12:14 when Yuki was telling Kyo basically not to lash out on Akito the subtitles said "not cause trouble for her" so idk we just gotta keep watching in regards to Akito's gender. Rin story is so interesting so far. I got spoiled in the opening that she's the horse zodiac lol. Haru is the Ox guy's name.
By "her" he meant Tohru. Kyo lashing out at Akito would anger Akito, which could cause trouble for Tohru.
I meant to comment this on the previous episode, but the other MASTERFUL think in Fruits Basket is the ROMANCE. You root for Yuki x Tohru, then in the very next scene you cheer for Kyo x Tohru, and back and forth!!! Even knowing the ending, the love triangle is sooooo well done that I still get conflicted haha! Also, good catch on Akito being biased against the female zodiac members! You're cooking up some interesting theories!
Actually, this episode already revealed who is the Rooster. It's at 6:29, 12:47 and 14:00 of your video. They mentioned it 3 times.
