FRUITS BASKET 2x1 REACTION! 👒

5:31 that was Kyo's voice. Earlier Kyo called Yuki lame and that's when Yuki kicked him so they replayed it

Enter the Black Ranger Manabe!!! I love him. He brings such a chaotic energy to the student council and I love his dynamic with Yuki. I think he will grow on you for sure. Also season 2 is great and it gets deeper and darker the further you go

So Super Sentai, which Manabe-kun (or Sho-kun) brought up, is basically the Japanese version of Power Rangers. Super Sentai actually came first, and Power Rangers was adapted from it. He said he'd totally want to be the Black Ranger, and that Yuki should be Red though he did joke that Yuki could be Pink too, since Yuki has a pretty face. Also, Hatsuharu (Cow/Bull) was with the long-haired girl who was in the hospital room when Momiji (Rabbit)[Correction: It's Hiro(sheep), not Momiji] visited her in the last episode of Season 1. And reminder that Fruba is very much a slice-of-life and romance anime. Honestly, I think it's the best romance anime out there, or at least top tier.❤️ Season 2 is going to bring in more characters who'll start making their way into our Sohma Zodiac members' lives. Tohru might get a little less screen time, but she's still super important to the story, especially as we dig deeper into her and the Sohma family.

This seasonnnnnn Waku waku I love Yuki’s character development shining here

I think something to keep in mind is that seasons are released far apart! So coming off the high of a season finale to a "slow" season opening will probs be jarring. Stick with it tho, lots of thingsssss to come!

It may be hard to notice in English, but the way Minagawa-senpai speaks reminds Yuki of Tohru because they both always use very formal Japanese when they talk, not only to strangers, but even to friends, family, and anyone. That's why it melts Yuki's heart to say "cute". But at the same time, Minagawa couldn’t simply be happy about it, because she realizes that Tohru has been changing Yuki’s world.

I could tell Ron was questioning this when he asked if the previous episode had been uploaded yet 😭 but dw for thinking it’s boring, this episode is the second lowest ranked fruits basket episode on IMDB so it only gets better from here! It was funny when Ron called that guy Sho cuz he wants to be called that and no one calls him that 🤣 I tried natto before but was not a fan :(

not a single character introduced in Fruits Basket is wasted. They all have their own stories to tell and how they influence the people around them. The world unfortunately doesn’t orbit around Tohru and the Sohmas, what they do also has an influence on people around them and vice versa, especially Yuki. They actually cut some story related to the two new characters. They have something to do wuth Tohru too, but they decided to omit that part. However, they are essential to the development of Yuki. Even the president of the fanclub that gets obsessed with Yuki has a beautiful ending later on, so every character introduced has their own story that contributes to their own growth as well the main cast’s growth. The school from this season onward is like the most important setting for Yuki to grow as a person, so right now they are laying down all the groundwork for that. But trust me, the payoff will be very satisfying and have you giggling😆

Y’all should for sure continue this anime, I will say this was just one of the more boring episodes I always skip it when rewatching this anime. But other than that this season it really great you learn a lot more about the zodiac throughout this season.

Manabe is a vibe😂 so chaotic. Whereas Machi is literally the opposite Definitely an episode to show the change in Yuki
