i see no problem with that. i never understood how people even remember names or most small details quickly to begin with lol. although, no hate of course but you cant really compare reading to watching anime. books are way more detailed. not just that but you cant compare those 5 books since they're like the top dogs of their own category of books.

Its no big deal at all guys! I saw so many people saying "how did you miss Koala reveal?" The card came up for half a second and even if it stayed for a while most people are not going to remember her. All the people getting on you about it live and breath one piece (as do i lol) but the average viewer is not going to remember her, she's an irrelevant character until now. I would say though maybe pause on title cards for characters introductions because sometimes they go fast and contains a lot of info! Love the reactions, keep it up and sending love!

Honestly for Big shows like One Piece making Notes helps a lot of people do that I did that too when I started

Here is the truth of the situation as I see it. First let me just say that I personally dont really have an issue. Its more funny to me than anything. I do however find it a little annoying when some stuff are obvious or stuff that is like the very core of the story get overlooked. That kinda defeats the purpose of a reaction...cause ur not following the story itself so ur confused when stuff happens. feel me? I also think ur taking too much on yourselves and trying to please too many people at once but thats for you guys to decide. From an outsider's perspective guys, at the end of the day its your channel and your reactions. You choose the amount of shows you decide to watch at the end of the day. People are gonna join the patreon expecting you to give a certain quality reaction to their favorite shows. After all, isnt that why we all sub? Only you guys can decide whether you are gonna keep going as is, having to apologize to us the fanbase for not remembering stuff, or find a way that corrects the problem like dropping some shows to focus on others, or another solution I dont see at this moment writing this. You guys choose to read subtitles too...which I get is what most people want, but that also adds to it because you are reading and not following most of the time. My point is...you guys choosing to be a reaction channel has pros and cons. U get the privelege to have more time on your hands and work from home and watch anime for work and stuff like that. I completely understand and this is why from the beginning since you guys started reacting to Naruto and even before that I always tried to say not to watch more then 4-5 shows at once for this exact reason cuz I knew you guys would struggle to remember all the details. Ron, I think you’re exactly right. You guys need to change the way that you’re watching anime. Just take one day and binge 10 episodes of the same anime so you can stay on topic and on point. Then do the same thing with a different anime the next day. Have your editor chop it up and still give us those episodes on the same days that you have been normally. Nobody cares that you’re gonna be wearing the same clothes. End of the timeline is not correct. You’re not like an anime news network your reactions don’t have to be less than 24 hours old. I’ve gone back and watched an entire reaction playlist that you did from two years ago and got the same enjoyment out of it as I did from the one yesterday. You guys could binge anime for two days a week and not have to do anything else for the rest of the week.

I’m watching 6 anime’s right now and it’s very hard to remember consistently. There’s only a few anime’s I know like that back of my hand. But right now I notice it’s also way harder to get invested into a character with all the jumps. Btw on a side not I highly recommend Hajime no Ippo. Without a doubt one of the best anime ever made. Especially if you need gym motivation.

No wonder one piece fanbase is considered the absolute worst in any fanbase.

If you feel the issue is caused by watching too many shows, wouldn't the solution be to watch fewer shows simultaneously? I don't really have a horse in this game, as it doesn't bother me, but if the complaints people were making are weighing heavily on your mind, perhaps temporarily dropping 1 - 3 shows would be the right approach. You could either leave that gap as-is, or you could fill it with additional episodes of the shows you continue.

I understand that it is important to pay attention to catch everything and follow the stories and yapping during the episodes sometimes makes you miss some details/clues but that's why there's a pause/play/rewind button 🤣 It is a reaction channel, and in my opinion... I don't understand why would someone pay to watch you react, if they don't like how (precisely) you react, that would be the dumbest thing ever... If I want to watch the anime itself, I just do it, (and even then, I pause and rewind if I don't understand something) but here, the point is to watch your reactions, so... for me, no need to apologize or explain yourself 😁❤️

Maybe for you two (Michele & Ron) this feels like a heavy burden or makes you feel bad toward the Sushi Squad, but all I can say is just relax. This is not meant to be offensive but I always looked at y’all as the “Solo Leveling” of reactors. You bring good energy but your not overly analytical and you don’t really have a good memory for the small details. In comparison to reactors like Heatah and Hustla or Boldcast. (If you watch all three of the reactors reaction to 663 it’s almost a night and day difference in terms of the ability to analyze things on the spot and even during the discussion.)

I’m going to be honest, it’s not you guys, it’s the commentators. You have some rude AF people in here at the moment. I’m sure it’s just their sense of humour, watching you every day must make you feel like friends and some people like to rip on their friends, but some of the comments I’ve read recently have left me speechless. I don’t think anyone would pay for content they don’t like, so try not to take it to heart. You are human, I’ve been watching anime for decades and I still mess up characters - you’re doing great!

I did always thought that you guys were not very good at remembering things - especially Ron, I think Michelle is doing better, which is cool because you can really see that you guys are a team - so like some of us said, you should watch less shows and really focus on maybe 4-5 series (2 long ones/3 short ones for example). Also, I have noticed that sometimes, you guys seem a lot more stressed about the reaction itself than about the story... Which could be explained by the amount of pressure that people put on you and also, maybe, your own pressure to PLEASE people. Don't be scared to speak out your opinions, even if it's controversial, who cares, people will get over it. Considering the difficulty with which you have to remember a lot of information all at once (understandable), you should be able to find solutions, such as : - Keeping a notebook in which you write what happened at the end of every single episode, like Blind Wave do; - Keeping a tab opened that you can check DURING the episode, maybe on a second screen, with every single character introduced in the show that you are watching, with their names, age, abilities maybe, something visual, not a table, like Semblance of Sanity do; - Watching way less series at the same time to be able to remember more details and provide better quality reactions, like Filmbuff does; - Doing a little recap before every single episode, to remember where we at, like Ralaz do (you do that sometimes but most of the time, your introductions are more fun and chaotic than anything haha) I don't think that not remembering major information or events is a terrible thing, but I do think that you should match that characteristic of yours to your job, with the help of a few tricks here and there to help you out and make you feel better. You've improved a lot already, though, so don't be sorry.

(Yapping time) I think this channel has really improved for me. I'm going to talk about One Piece specifically. So, I was subscribed to you for 3 years, and there was a moment when I considered unsubscribing from your channel because I just wasn't feeling it anymore. I thought you weren't as locked in as I wanted. Sometimes I got the impression that you didn't care that much. The discussions were not that interesting to me. Idk, I just didn't feel it anymore, and I was subscribed to too many channels at the same time, that's hard to follow. So by elimination, I eventually unsubscribed here WITHOUT announcing it to the world or complaining even once. Obviously, the majority was enjoying it, and I'm a normal adult, if I don't like something, I just leave. I resubscribed when I had more time to watch some reactions a couple of months later, and today I think this channel is genuinely one of the best. You guys probably make me laugh the most on the One Piece reactions. I believe you've never been more locked in than you are today. The discussions are nice, and I really feel like I'm looking forward to your reactions. You guys are also more active with your community. This channel has had the best improvement imo, not because of the editing, thumbnails, or adjustments like that, but mainly because of you yourselves. Every single aspect has improved, and of course the editing, the thumbnails, etc... I see your work, and I wanted to appreciate the effort. I learned that it's important to express these kinds of feelings to creators you support, especially in situations like this. You guys have been ROASTED in the comments lmao, personally, if you don't remember something, I just don't care. Ron and Mich, it doesn't matter what you do, people will complain. You will have people probably saying you didn't react the right way when Big Mom ship appeared in Dressrosa recently for example. Any important details you forget can easily be corrected. Unless it's something outright egregious you don't remember, I don't think there needs to be much complaints. A lot of us didn't remember everything on a first watch through and some people have better memories

Did you ever consider writing down notes on important characters, events, powers, etc. when watching anime? I think this will really help a lot in watching anime. Take a look at the channel of The Normies for example, they barely miss anything while watching cause one of them is taking down notes on names, powers, etc. Hope you consider this in the future. I’d be willing to help moderate Bleach if you need it. I’m already a twitch mod for AliAnimus but she’s caught up on Bleach now so I just mod her Shippuden streams. I have every character name memorized and am good at reminding of little details or foreshadowing pieces from hundreds of episodes ago. I probably know more about Bleach than most mods and that’s not a flex it’s just my favorite anime since I was 13 back in 06. I know you guys get a lot of comments especially for Bleach and I know it can get overwhelming so if you need an extra mod please let me know guys! Willing to help out for the passion of it. Big fan as always.

I can respect wanting to post a large variety of shows but I do hope you consider lowering how many shows you watch at once. At least then it’ll be much easier to retain information and hopefully make things easier to manage. I love you guys but if I am being honest it sometimes feels like you’re prioritizing quantity over everything else, which I know might not be your intention. There’s a lot of great shows out there so I can understand the FOMO when you see what’s all being recommended but it shouldn’t come at the risk of juggling 5-10 shows and risking not fully taking everything in because of it

i think the issues is too many animes all at once, happened to me as well when I mixed things up watching too many shows a couple years ago. I'd suggest do more episodes per week for less shows, like 4-5 shows but with more drops each week.

I think the issue here isnt that they are watching 10 plus shows the issue is that literally after one video drop going to another they forget what's going on or the plot or character names etc. so it takes away from the viewer and I'll say this on my end as a long time viewer of R&G yes the video quality has went up when it comes to transitions, effects etc. but the engagement from R&G has gone down, there are times were Ron looks like he has other things on his mind or is anxious to get the react out! And you know that's not his fault some people can't hide it and some people can't see it. But R&G I'll say this to end DO YOU people like myself will have 2 cents to say because yes we are paying for a product and sometimes products change sometimes for the best for some and worse for others, you will never make everyone happy and we as viewers don't like it we can always walk away!

Some of us expect way too much from you both and want you to immediately lock onto every single detail no matter how big or small. Never mind that y'all got like 5 or 6+ different anime going on rn. Half of the time something you missed in the moment will get re-explained a few eps later and with even more detail. So it's really not that serious if you forgot one or two side characters. I can bet you anything that if you were to ask any of your Patreon members or any of your fans that genuinely love your guys content if they care if you miss a detail or don’t understand something that was hinted at 2-3 episodes ago 100% of those people would not think twice about it and would just continue watching, there are some of us that would 100% love to let you know some cool little details or explain certain things to help you understand something a bit better but we all love your content and are just happy that you guys are posting a new reaction vid. You have to remember most of us watch 5-10 episodes in one sitting in the span of like 2 hours sometimes longer where as for you guys it takes a few weeks to watch the same amount of episodes, so don’t sweat it we understand completely. You guys keep doing you and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise, you guys have a crazy schedule just so that we can watch you watch shows, we appreciate you so much so don’t let anybody ruin your experience when it comes to watching these shows

Thank you for the really calm and mature response. It's totally understandable with the kind of workload y'all have. And I think reasonable people would understand. I personally think you may be doing too many different anime concurrently, and the information overload may take away from each of the shows you're watching. I think you guys would still do great with 1 or 2 less shows (if they're ending soon) and replace those time slots with the longer running ones you may be watching now just to stay locked in and to make it easier on the mind. But I don't know how much that affects you guys with the admin and the diversity of your audience. Nonetheless, thank you for taking your community seriously and for always trying to find the best solutions ❤️

Tbh it’s to be expected and should be common sense that y’all would forget details here and there. Anyone who gets upset about that is just a troll. I’ve rewatched One Piece multiple times just to remember things I’ve completely forgotten and watching it with you guys has been a huge refresher as well and becomes more enjoyable so no need to apologize. Even us who watch 1 or 2 anime forget things all the time.

That is very fair. Coincidentally, I do indeed read like that often and keep it almost always retained but I am a total weirdo, especially with books and am not nearly as good with names in any media. I have always retained way more information reading than I have watching anything or speaking to anyone. So, you are doing just fine and killing it. That is a lot of work to put in, thank you both for continuing to do so. Don't burn yourselves out.

People trip over the most ridiculous things

Eh i think people expect way too much and want you to watch things as they do. Which is such an unrealistic expectation. We all see and experience things in our own way and every one of us needs to understand that. :)

Honestly I think most people get it. I think people that don’t have unrealistic expectations for you. You guys are literally watching multiple shows in a language you guys don’t understand.

A lot of the time, it's stuff you're not expected to remember by the show either. But random commentors presume that "ofc they should know immediately". Yet the shows are constructed that way, and it's why they do callbacks to make viewers connect the dots. Some really on the nose through flashbacks, others refer back to stuff one needs to remember in dialogue a little bit later. And you guys are watching so many things at once too. Many ppl comment on these shows binged it all in isolation. Their experience is different.

Real ones will never be upset about stuff like this. Keep up the good work!
