Everyone fears the 4 emperors because they follow no rules and very strong. Remember there was a whole war of the entire marine force + all available warlords to fight just one emperor(whitebeard). A single warlord even one as strong as Doffy is nothing against an emperor.

So interesting thing. In episode 653, The part with the whole fight with Giolla in that art world doesn’t happen in the manga. After looking at the chapters, the part after Brook cuts her that’s it, Nami and Momo do still beat her up. But all that extra fight was not part of the manga. Toei added that to the anime.

I was curious does Ron and Michelle know how luffy looks like currently? I was wondering because I think it’s impossible to avoid that. For example I have never got to the part where luffy …. But I already seen it because of social media. And also if you have Netflix it shows you luffy in the banner spoiling people to how he looks like. It’s fine if they seen it I was just wondering. Me myself I don’t care if I see the characters new (redacted) as long as I don’t see the actual scene of the episode.

To Ron's point about powerscaling, in my mind, 1 Yonko is equal to 3 admirals or all 7 warlords. Since all the Yonko are fighting each other as well, you can't count them as 1 force. So each Yonko could take down all 7 warlords or 3 admirals. That's why the Navy was so pressed about Whitebeard and Shanks meeting, since that would mean they are on equal footing with both 3 admirals and 7 warlords. The government keeps balance with their 2 pillars of power, but if 2 or more Yonko joined together, they could take down the whole government, maybe.

As far as the emperors and the celestial dragons, the 3 powers that hold the world in balance are the navy, the emperors and the world gov. So they typically don’t just fight each other bc they could start a huge war that throws the world into chaos (like we saw after marineford with all the territories whitebeard was protecting like fishmen island) so that’s why celestial status doesn’t really matter to an emperor bc they have enough military power to at least start a war if necessary

In defense of the Celestial Dragons, Doffy is not the only one not sitting on his ass. If it were just the ones we’ve seen so far they would’ve been overthrown long ago lol.

Honetly Doffy and Pain are nothing alike and you will see why when you guys getting deeper in the arc. Just my opinion but I'd be interested if anyone thinks otherwise, so please let me know if im missing something. I would explain why but I think it would be spoilers for them.

To put it into perspective clearly: - The World Government was created by "the first 20", AKA the royalty of 20 Kingdoms - The royalty of 19 of those Kingdoms moved to the Holy Land and became Celestial Dragons (minus Alabasta - they stayed in their Kingdom) - Because the royalty of those 19 Kingdoms left for the Holy Land, those Kingdoms had to elect new royalty to govern/reign over them - For Dressrosa, the former royalty was the Don Quixote family. They moved to the Holy Land and became Celestial Dragons along with the others - The Riku family took over Dressrosa I suppose what is confusing is that Doflamingo is here now. That will clear itself up in future episodes 💯🔥😁 Looks like you guys understood it anyway. Good job :D

These three episodes are really enjoyable, and the discussions and theories surrounding them are also fascinating. I completely relate to Ron’s frustration when the characters sometimes make low-IQ decisions—I feel the same way. However, from another perspective, much of each character’s recurring humor actually comes from those moments when they act foolish, so this kind of characterization is quite fitting. When I was younger, I often found it annoying and had little patience for it. Back then, I always ranked Naruto and Hunter x Hunter higher than One Piece. But as I’ve grown older, I’ve become less critical and more accepting. Considering all the adventures the Straw Hat Pirates have been through, their occasional carelessness or seemingly dumb decisions actually feel very real and human. At this point, I don’t mind it much anymore.

The whole 2nd battle against Giolla and the domain expansion thing is filler fyi. In the manga after Brook defeats her the 1st time nami strikes her with lightning and the fight is over. Even the conversation between Sanji and Violet is altered in the manga she is just concerned that the ship was struck by lightening not the ship disappearing

I remember Ron said Doffy is pulling all the strings in Punk Hazard lol (and/or called him a puppet master, something like that) and then when Doffy was fighting Aokiji Ron mentioned it looked like he was controlling strings.
