Yeah this felt like a different anime with Uo's backstory. Who would've known she was that connected with Torhu's mom. I can see how it didn't make sense at first with Torhu's mom being in a gang but seeing how much she's changed after having Torhu makes so much sense
This episode should have been an hour long 🥹🥺😭 Uo-channnnnn I relate to so hard… it makes me think of Clannad (another anime I high recommend for wholesome sad and happy moments that are comparable to those in Fruits Basket)

It might be a little late, but Episodes 16–17, 21–22, and 24–25 are best watched in pairs. Many of us recommended it in the previous episode. I especially recommend watching Episodes 24–25 together. In Furuba, no character is ever overlooked as each one has their own story and backstory that shapes who they are today.❤️😭
