I have to say a big THANK YOU for not skipping this amazing arc! I love watching people react to this arc specifically. The vibes this arc gives off is just worth talking and thinking about. Hearing your thoughts is so satisfying and in this arc there is no right or wrong, simply because (as you two have guessed) it opens up something new for whatever Bleach has in store later.

Love you guys theorize, but before you spiral too far down the relatedness rabbit hole: No, Ginjo is not Isshin’s brother/uncle/cousin/whatever. And the guy with the book is not the guy in the picture in Inoue’s room. (That was Orihime’s late brother who turned into a Hollow and tried to kill her). Book guy is a completely different person. He’s also not secretly Ishida’s brother 😅 As for Yuzu and Karin constantly looking at Ichigo - they’re not sensing some weird Spiritual Pressure around him or so -> They’re seeing their big brother walk around with a forced, fake smile insisting everything’s fine. They know him. They can tell he’s not himself. And honestly… Ichigo really isn’t okay during this arc. After losing his powers, he tries to be happy about living a normal life. But he keeps catching himself thinking about his powers and realizing he’s not over it. Not even close. That’s why he throws his Combat Pass into the river - it’s him trying to bury that part of himself. But then everyone starts keeping secrets. There’s a new threat, and he can’t do anything about it. He feels useless. Left behind. Powerless. So of course he starts thinking about his lost powers again. Not out of pride - out of desperation. That’s what pushes him toward Xcution. This arc is about identity, loss, and how badly Ichigo defines himself by his ability to protect others 🧡

I remember at the start of Bleach Ron was glazing it. I mean hella glazing like he called it the best and had Bleach as his #1. Then I feel as time passed and we got some pacing issues/down moments (which wasnt necessarily bad imo . Tbh dondechakka and pesche were annoying) but at that point his hype died down....Now since Aizen peak eps Ron has that feeling back. Definitely feel like TYBW Ron will really love Bleach again like in the beginning prob even more

Ron is right, this arc is underrated. I feel its very important to Ichigo's development. 4:46 that guy is from Chad's backstory, Ichigo beat him up for bullying him. I don't blame you for not remembering lmfao. That dude who injured Ishida isn't Orihime brother as yall realized lol. I think this is the perfect time for mental health break since start of this arc. Enjoy your break

It's not that Yuzu sensed some weird spiritual pressure from Ichigo like everyone else did but that she noticed Ichigo was being bothered by something. During the beginning of Bleach on the episode when it was the anniversary of his mother's passing, it was brought up that whenever he is feeling sad or bothered, he puts up a smile and seems happier than usual to hide how he feels. The first episode of this arc we saw last week when Yuzu wanted to show Ichigo her new uniform, he barely acknowledged her and didn't even smile, in a playful way of course, but that is how he normally is unironically. When Yuzu showed her test scores, Ichigo was all smiles and acknowledged her, which is uncharacteristic of him which is why Yuzu felt something was off.

Man I love everything about this arc.

There is SOOO Much more lore to come guys, this may be a short arc but it is so juicy, especially for Ichigos character development. Very underrated ARC. I gaurantee !! that once they get to TYBW they will quickly move BLEACH to top 3 maybe even top 2 all time, its the greatest war arc in anime.

Sometimes you just gotta relax with the wild theories and read the subtitles. Not everyone is just randomly related lol
