This is one of the most uncomfortable episodes, but they portrayed is better than most media of how it could be done and how it can leave someone in such a traumatized state. And as she was saying, the boots, just like his gloves, they fill a hole in the heart left behind. It is a very powerful episode to say the least.

This episode is so disturbing, uncomfortable, and disgusting but a strong episode… really helps you understand Amo more as a character, the world. Its a bad yet good episode☹️

This is all I could find under a quick search w reliable sites. AS of 2026 1.1 MILLION people are living in conditions of modern slavery indications IN the USA alone evidence could support this number to be higher.

I think the artist did a good job w amo like how they illustrated it bcuz no one wants too see that. yeah I'm a jd delay fan he needs the woodchipper. fr I hate pedos my dad is one I beat him out of our house at 12 years old n he was 6 ft 7. Yeah this was definitely a pretty uncomfortable episode to watch for me. And I’m glad that guy got what he deserved, but yeah, one thing I don’t see much people talk about is if the mother’s still alive and what she’s doing? Would be pretty sick if later on amo runs into her and gets revenge or something

The end discussion was really nice. I actually got to think on things that I didn't even considered on my first watch like what Michelle was saying about Rudo's and Amo's items manifesting their wishes as powers.

i saw some people cosplaying as Amo, an innocent child who got groomed and dressed by a PDF. makes me sad and mad sometimes. the anime world is very weird. the show gets so good, can't wait for you guys to see!

Amo's story was so dark and heartbreaking. She was sold by her mother for money, groomed, abused, gaslighted and brainwashed that all these were "love" by that trafficker was disgusting to watch. T-T
