Frieren - S2 Episode 3

Frieren's temper tantrum is too much 🤣🤣🤣 I love that Stark actually asked to go the hot springs. He never asks for stuff, so it's sweet to see him ask for that

The Hydra Heracles (hercule) defeated had 9 heads and if I'm correct if you cut one head, two grow back (so you don't want to cut the heads recklessly, he cauterized each wounds to prevent the heads from growing back). This one is just a 3 headed lizard inspired by the Hydra since hydra means "water serpent". If not in water, not hydra lol. It starts with multiple heads from the start (not from 1)! I think in animation we often see 3 head simply because it's cool enough and doing more heads means way more work lmao, 3 just sounds like a good amount because imagine having to design + animate 5/9 heads WOW. With 3 it's cool and you lessen the work while maintaining lisibility (9 heads is hard to manage without being a mess on the screen)

The whole soundtrack is on Spotify yes! I have the soundtrack vinyl it's so good I just play it while I'm cooking the whole house turns into a tarven lmao

23:24, my heart ached a little... RIP Atsuko Tanaka.

Frieren Friday’s are the best days, plus there’s fire force too

Yes a Hydra is a multi-headed lizard/snake like monster. The name originates from Greek mythology. And Michelle is right the hot spring town does have a ancient Central Asia or East Asia vibe to it. That's probably what they based it off to show the cultural difference of the Northern lands versus the Middle lands and Southern lands, etc.
