Robin has a gag of being dark/having a dark sense of humor so I don't think she was necessarily happy when they were locked up, she just wasn't bothered. She isnt really the scary or panicky type like Nami or Usopp
Yeah Robin is just dark that way and a little sadistic. Some might see her smiling at being chained up and think maybe she's a little kinky, but gotta ask Oda and Toei if that was intentional or not lol.
Yeah Vergo VA is Yami's. Also Grimmjow, Aizawa, Sukuna etc. One piece character designs are very unique and bizarre so looking at Vergo my first time watching I just thought oh a guy with a steak on his face lol it's a gag. Yes its the same in the manga. "Foxfire" Kinemon (samurai guy). Kinemon is his name (Kee-neh-mon) Foxfire is just his nickname. Same case with "White Chase" Smoker. White Chase is his nickname/moniker. Dressrosa name drop and Doflamingo I'm hype

Also axolotl’s they are only found in this one pond which is actually from the impact of a meteorite. They probably would’ve died off if it was not for the pet trade. One of the very few positive things the Pet Trade has done to animals. We are studying them to regenerate bodies because they can regenerate their bodies even their brain (depend depends on how bad the damage is, but if they survive, they will regenerate).
Where the heck did you get the meteorite info? Lake Xochimilco was just made from tectonic movement as far as im aware

The corruption in the Navy mostly stems from the World Government and Celestial Dragons who basically run the Navy Stuff like the Warlord system was created by the WG not necessarily the Navy
A lot of One Piece characters are abnormally tall, the anime can be very inconsistent with how tall they actually are Characters like Garp, Dragon, the Admirals and many others are also as tall as Brook and the Samurai guy…and some even taller

1015 is the best, simply put.
Many think that Ep 1015 is the best episode. There are a number of crazy and emotional episodes after too. And plenty of drops this 2 episodes: Joker=Doflamingo, Dressrosa, "Firefox" Kinemon sword style from Wano Kingdom, Vergo working for Doflamingo as undercover in the Navy as a Vice Admiral and he also uses Haki (in case you didn't notice, his hand turned dark/black before hitting Law). Can't wait for you to arrive at that arc! Also "Joker" was mentioned before post war but I'm sure you didn't notice or remember. No issues since I think they will revisit this if I remember correctly. Btw Vergo hamburger on the face is in the manga. Oda did do that. XD

Regarding Akainu (Sakasuki), way back in eps 275, he was the one who ordered the civilian ship escaping from Ohara (Robin's hometown) to be destroyed... Just to make sure no scholar could escape that way... He's always been a POS hiding his cruelty behind what he calls "justice"... It's almost impossible to notice or remember on a first watch. I like how Oda puts sprinkles of foreshadowing throughout his story like that
Just like Pirates, the navy have their good soldiers like Sengoku and Smoker who are upstanding and fights for the rigght thing and they also have scum. The world of One Piece isnt black and white. I also hope that you both realize that the world is becoming alot more serious now that they have entered the New World. I am very happy that we got to Doflamingo's intro officially into the story. Hes for sure a wild one and I KNOW for sure that you guys are gonna really love the rest of this arc and the next one after. Cannot wait for the laugher and the tears to come.

Oda is so good at making new characters noticeable, sometimes from their looks (obviously), their way of talking (chapapa, shurororo, jamon, etc), sometimes from their behavior like forgetting humberger on his face lol. Creating more than 1100 chapters and somehow I still remember many characters, even though I'm usually not good at remembering things, otherwise the one that I read it over and over like jjk. I don't re-read one piece often and still could remember most of the characters are wild. Even in the big 3, I have to re-read naruto and bleach because I always forget the characters 🤣
Most characters in One Piece have their own unique quirks. Thats all it is and should be. But fkn TOEI just has to overdo it with Sanji for no reason. I will forever hate them
