It sadly didn’t win anime of the year, it sadly went to solo leveling. However to true anime fans who don’t just watch the stuff on the hype train Frieren is the true winner of anime of the year. Also Frieren has definitely made me rearrange my favorite top ten anime.

Fun fact(I learned from PewDiePie latest video of him experiencing drawing animation at animation studio, Wit Studio, that animated AOT, SpyXFamily, Ousama Ranking, Vinland Saga): It takes approximately 15–30 minutes to draw a single picture. In Japanese animation, one second consists of 24 frames. Based on this, I calculated how long animation would take if handled by a single artist: • 6–12 hours to produce 1 second of animation • 15–30 days to produce 1 minute of animation • 11–24 months to produce 1 full episode Fortunately, animation studios are able to divide this workload among many artists under them, allowing them to meet their production deadlines. Backgrounds and details in an episode is about 300 frames. We need to appreciate these animators artist more for their hardwork!
