Spooky Day has officially taken over the neighborhood, and this year, the kids aren't just dressing up, they're heading out for a night of candy, mischief , spooky surprises, and unforgettable memories with friends!

🚨But watch out! Not every house is handing out candy, and some trick-or-treaters have tricks of their own!

There are 2 Halloween Experiences: Choose Haunted Night of Tricks and Treats to explore the neighborhood with your trick-or-treaters, or Spooky Day at Home to welcome visitors and hand out candy while you watch a spooky flix! You can enjoy the night from either side of the doorstep!

🎃Haunted Night of Tricks and Treats 🍬

The Trick or Treat event brings together trick or treaters, participating neighbors, parental guardians, and mischievous teen bullies, each with their own part to play. Friendly green specters give the neighborhood a playful, magical vibe, while angry red specters bring the more scary energy/encounters for kids.

• Children and teens can carry Halloween buckets throughout the event autonomously and collect candy as they visit pumpkin stops. Their treats go into their buckets, giving them a collection of candy and money to enjoy as the night goes on.

✨Choose a Scare Actor
When planning the event, you can select one teen or older Sim as the Scare Actor. This Sim dresses as a scarecrow and performs a spooky shriek to really get your sims in the Spooky Day spirit! Of course if they get too scared, they can call over a guardian or kick the scarecrow to let them know it was too much.

✨Wait, let me check that candy..✨

Collected candy can be really tempting to eat, but questionable or unwrapped treats may leave a Sim feeling sick. Checking the children’s haul adds another little family moment to this Halloween experience.

• Choose a Parental Guardian of the Night to help look after the trick or treaters. Guardians can keep an eye on the children, and respond when troublemakers go a bit too far. They can also check children’s collected candy, because a full bucket doesn’t always mean every treat is a good one.

✨Watch out for trouble✨

Teen bullies bring their own Halloween entertainment. They scream at children, quoting movie classics, and smashing pumpkins. Guardians can step in with warnings, and repeated trouble can get a bully sent home. Their idea of a successful Halloween is everyone else’s misery!

✨ Spooky Day at Home✨

Turn your home into a spooky day stop filled with candy, "excited" trick or treaters, and a little neighborhood chaos. Decorate your porch, set out your candy bowl, and spend the evening soaking in vibes, while keeping an eye on what’s happening outside.

✨Unattended porch candy✨

Porch candy bowls let trick or treaters help themselves, but some Sims can be greedy and snatch the whole bowl! A greedy visitor may steal the entire bowl, leaving the next arrivals without their treats!

✨ Make memories with friends✨

Say hi to friends, and invite them to hang out for the evening! Collect candy and complete the spooky day event together! There’s room to enjoy the night with the Sims who make your spooky day very special and memorable!

Different responses give the evening a little personality. One friend might be ready to hang out, while another wants to explore by themselves. If someone declines, your Sim can invite someone else. No biggie.
