The game locks so many cute, affectionate, and storytelling-friendly interactions behind romance, weddings, relationships, or other specific situations. Real relationships are more than that. Best friends can be close. Family can be affectionate. Chosen family can have emotional moments.
This includes platonic versions of:
Tickle
Feed a Bite
Look Deeply Into Eyes
Cut Wedding Cake / Feed Cake to
✨Feed A Bite ✨
This sweet little interaction was originally buried behind picnic tables and restaurant booths, and it was only available for romantic couples. I managed to unlock it for most two-seat spots where Sims can sit together, not just picnic tables and booths. However, this version is best suited for Teen through Elders.
Children may work with it on picnic tables only, but outside of that the animation height is off and they can look pretty silly, so I would not recommend it for kids unless they are using the picnic table version.
Children can feed each other while seated at a picnic table. The animation height is a little off since the interaction was not originally made for kids, but honestly, I still adore this! I think it works well for storytelling and cute gameplay moments.
✨Tickle Mercilessly✨
Tickle interaction is unlocked for more ages and relationships. Sims can tickle Teen through Elder Sims, and adults can also tickle children — with children able to tickle adults back.
✨Look Deeply Into Eyes✨
I absolutely love this animation. It feels like one Sim is gently reassuring the other, which makes it perfect for soft, emotional, and intimate moments that do not have to be romantic.
It gives your Sims a quiet way to show care, support, and connection in a soft way
Kids can do it also but with its charm attached
✨Cut Cake✨
Unlocked the Cut Cake With and Feed Cake To interactions so they can be used outside of the normal wedding cake setup. Your Sims can now share cake moments more freely, whether it’s for storytelling, family scenes, parties, birthdays, or even machinima.
• Does not replace your cakes
• Only adds/unlocks cake interactions.
This mod unlocks “Cut Cake With” for compatible regular cakes and wedding cakes
“Feed Cake To” is included for wedding cakes only (The big tall cakes)

🚨Does this replace the romantic versions?🚨
No. This mod does not fully remove or replace EA’s romantic versions of these interactions.
The goal is to let Sims use these actions as friendly/family interactions without romance being pushed by the mod. EA’s original romantic interactions may still exist in the game depending on the Sim relationship, packs, autonomy, and other mods installed.

I love these so much, I wish the kids weren't so stretched during tickling animation but I understand you aren't at that kind of moddling level yet. You could try to reach out to Cepzid, she is very kind and has already converted various animations for children in her realistic children's mod, I am sure she would help you to fix it :)
The point was to unlock the interaction. I already stated the animation was already in the game and wasnt meant for kids but i ended up just unlocking it anyway.

Dine out is needed for 'Feed A Bite' And Wedding stories is needed for the cake interactions

I have never understood why friends cant give massages to each other. Oh, and there is an interaction I love that is locked behind celebrity gameplay (if you own that pack of course) -- it is when sims are gossiping about a celebrity. That interaction is SO cute that I wish I could use it for normal gameplay! But no matter what I looooove your mods! Keep up the good work!
