Neuralpedia: Update and Deliverables

NEURALPEDIA UPDATE

The Neuralverse continuity is the biggest collection of tracks of its kind.  It's all available here on Patreon.  It's all organized chronologically.

The remaining goal is to make it ACCESSIBLE, in a way that people can browse easily.  I’m teaching myself some basic coding for this; there’s just no other way.  Patrons deserve more than a spreadsheet.

I did some attempts at this previously on Blubrry and via Github.  That’s confusing and weird, I think.  It register as flat text, and that’s really not the vibe.

I’m instead putting this on my personal website.  https://neuralnetsandprettypatterns.com/

To maintain a steady flow of deliverables to Patrons, I'm adding a carousel every day. That takes a series and makes it visual, with repeating motifs.

I’ve done two so far.  Expect deliverables on this project every other day.

ONE WORD

One word is about “semantic satiation.”

We all KNOW the experience, even if we don’t know the words.  It’s when you repeat a word over and over until it seems to mean nothing at all. If you're unfamiliar with that, you can try it right now. Take the word "patterns." You can just repeat it until you know what I mean.

In these tracks, voices repeat the one word. A spoken word track describes the experience, even as meaning fuzzes. The voice guides the transformation of sound from meaning to feeling.

MOOTOPIA

Time to be a moo moo!

Vapid Valley started in 2019 as a comic cow cosplay audio drama: two city girls, one evil milkmaid, a prize named Milkshake, and a machine at the center of the farm that does exactly what it sounds like.

That one track bred the Mind Milking Machine, then Mootopia proper, then Best Bessie, Pump Pep Squad, Not a Farm Game, Milky Way, and One Word: Moo.  Eight productions, one herd, and a universe that keeps demanding to be milked.

The farm is dark, the EDM is pumping, and the cows come home on their own terms.
