Thanks for your patience! Caytlin had to deal with some health issues and then a family emergency, so it took a little longer than we wanted to get this done.
Caytlin: Man, I have been waiting for TEN YEARS to get to this reveal. Ari and I have been vibrating with excitement to get these pages out. I'm so stoked! I hope you guys enjoy it too!
Ari: I remember when I first joined the Tamberlane team back in 2020 and got a chance to learn what plans Caytlin had in mind for later chapters, and the idea that there were strong sci-fi elements simmering underneath the fantastical veneer of the story was something I was SO excited to finally reveal in the comic. I'm so excited to finally be here! Also, poor Kira. She's been through a lot.

I just gotta say how much I love that this art style is so “cutesy,” but neither it nor the story are afraid to go totally RAW. Just look at that totally adorable baby Kira *eating a worm* and surviving for at least a couple of years all alone in the woods. And her facial expressions as she concludes her story are so intense. I love it.
I wonder if Kira's father is part wolf her mom must be a cow or a cow-lizard
Look at what’s behind Kira’s dad (Warren?). Kira said that when her mother held her, it didn’t feel like her. I thought it might’ve been a scent thing that freaked Kira out, but it looks more like Kira’s mum was transformed. It’s hard to see with the dialogue bubbles, but that might be intentional. Whatever it is, it seems taller than Warren while both are sitting and appear to have longer fingers. Kira’s a mashup of dog, cow, and alligator, and with Warren looking most like a dog, Quinn’s unique size and shape could be down to being an alligator-cow mix. Still, with the last few pages delving into strange science-y stuff, Inquistive Ivan portraying tainted creatures as horrific monsters, and now the reveal of the creatures in control of Abroad, it could be that creatures are experimented on and deformed. Kira and Warren may be safe, but it looks as though Quinn was tainted…
More and more this story is starting to seem like it's taking place in a post apocalyptic setting where the humans except for Tam had been wiped out and Tam might be the last human alive its just a theory

Well, we do know humans exist because of Tam; but yeah, I thought Abroad would be all humans! I'm so curious how humans fit in to all of this!

I guess technology flew too high and everything came crashing down when it came to resource scarcity. The elders decided to keep it for themselves and forced everyone else to live simplistically in order to maintain what was left?
I also hope we get back to Tam and Bel. I miss the main characters.

I thought she was a deer of some type… but honestly, she could be a kangaroo… or even a deer/kangaroo hybrid - this is a world of mostly hybrids after all…!
I always had a feeling that Abroad was more advanced, but I never expected them to be that much more advanced!
I am definitely stoked. We just dove deep into the connections between Treehollow and Abroad.
Why do I get the feeling that the lack of any visuals of her mom is going to be her still alive, but with a twist? Also, will we get a bio later about Miss West?
Kira's Dad seems pretty awesome. I hope we get more of her parents
