I understand why she ate the worm, to survive obviously, but still… that’s just gross. 😓 didn’t anyone bother to adopt her? (I also hope we get back to Tam and Bel, I miss the main characters).
There was nobody around and she hid from strangers. How someone gained her trust is going to be a major step.

Wow! I'm speechless. I've been lucky enough to only have met one or two people who survived completely on their own for a time as a child. Needless to say, they didn't talk much about it.
