Oakwood is (presumably) crushed by the realization that Tamberlane is human and will be tossed out of the community like trash once the powers that be discover her. The entire situation is heartbreaking...
You're right! I didn't think of that but what scares him more than the fact she's human is that she's gonna be kicked abroad! But only if Oakwook reveal to the others what a human actually is. Then if they see the picture they will associate it to the long-walkers
Ainsley's anxiety is very well depicted and makes me question how Ainsley actually feels about Oakwood?
