Progress Report 25-03
I need a basement with an industrial air conditioning unit to hole up in until this episode is done. Working in this summer heat sucks lol.
Ep4 Development
Right now I'm in the middle of more-or-less finalizing the first half of the episode. I'd like to have this done by the end of the weekend so I can hand it off to have it tested and get feedback. Most of this is animations and adding game sounds & music.
This is something I've done with previous episodes to get early notes on some things that need attention, and to verify I can address everything I need to in the second half.
I still have work to do in the second half, so the release isn't as imminent as I hoped, but work is still underway. It's been difficult staying efficient with my time due to being pulled in many directions, but now that I'm saying this publicly... I guess it puts the burden on me to correct it.
I want to give you all good news by the start of August, so this is me holding myself accountable.
Personal
Just to follow-up to my last update where I mentioned some heart health stuff that happened and the lifestyle changes I intended to make.
Well, I've stuck with it. I've now done 80 consecutive days of cardio, interspersed with other fitness exercises, and considerable changes to my diet. It started with about 20-25min/day of brisk walking, and I'm now up to doing a 5k every morning. My heart is doing much better, with only some minor things like short palpitations happening once in awhile.

any new updates?
Hello CoolKitty, hope you are doing well. I just have one question regarding a potential next update. You mentioned to hopefully have some news in August but it is now end of September so I was just wondering how the game is advancing and if you can share some bigger news soon.
Yes, I dropped the ball on getting a progress report done but am planning to get everyone up to speed soon. Sorry it also took a little time to reply to this!
You are an inspiration good sir! Keep up the great work!
Heya, CoolKitty. I am very glad to hear that you are feeling better and stuck to the active lifestyle. Being consistant is the most challenging part imo. So you should be gosh darn proud of that :) Health is probably the most important thing in life so I am glad that you make it a priority. I m exited for the next ep of your game whenever it is ready :) Best wishes and don't stress yourself about hitting a planned date, it will be done when its done o7
Hope you'll get better. One of my colleagues had a hearth attack 2y ago, but at least he saw the symptoms in advance and rushed to a hospital, so he's on the same path - diets, etc - except of no sports for him - loads are prohibited. I myself had small artery blown up with hospitalization nearly at the same period - He was hospitalized, then I was released, so I visited him. Still, he tells meh to not drink, to no avail - The live shall be fun, not it? I like to do walk in the nature(parks) for 4.5km per cycle(Unrelated to health) just to have leg muscles intact. However, I make pauses in the summer - Too hot and thus exhausting. So, yep, do the walks - Fresh air, especially in the parks near trees with foxes walking freely, and frogs making funny sounds(kwak-kwak) in the water at night is a good experience :) Cheerz for health :)
I wouldn't mind a little more scenic route to run through like what you're describing lol. Honestly, taking regular long walks is great for anyone, especially those with desk jobs or sit around a large chunk of the day. My old boss would talk about how sitting all day is equivalent to being a smoker. I guess he talked about it a lot cuz I still think about that years later :P I'm glad you're doing well and keeping up with your own fitness!
