Gameplay feature: Pregnancies
As some of you may know, pregnancies are planned as a feature in Shattered Minds.
Here is a brief introduction to my concept:
After you make a woman your subordinate, you can impregnate her.
If you tell this woman to stop taking her birth control pills and you cum inside her during sex, there is a chance she will become pregnant (random chance, calculated by a mathematical formula).
Currently, I plan for a pregnancy to last 15 in-game days.
Day 0-3 will show no change. By day 4-8, you will see she has a slight belly and her breasts are getting bigger.
By day 9-10, she will have a significantly larger belly, as well as larger breasts. It is not possible to have sex on these two days.
The actual birth cannot be observed, only the message that the pregnancy is over can be received.
Upon giving birth, the woman has larger breasts and is lactating for another 5 ingame days. There are unique sexual options available during this time (erotic lactation etc...).
When these 5 days have passed, the woman will be back to her pre-pregnancy state. Her breasts and belly will return to their normal size and she will be able to get pregnant again.
It is possible to repeat pregnancy as many times as you like.
A child won't be born, by the way. As a result of the MC's unique powers, he will receive Mind Points instead of a child!
So this is another way to earn Mind Points in the game!
Pregnancies are completely optional. If you don't want your women to become pregnant, let them take the pill continuously.
Now I'd like to hear what you think. What are your thoughts on this extensive topic? Do you have any suggestions or improvements to my concept?
Vote on how important you think this new gameplay feature is. If it should be implemented relatively quickly (e.g. already in V0.06 for Eleanor) or if it can wait.

I've got to share my humble opinion on this feature - I think the kids not being real kills the reproductive point that makes this mechanic particularly attractive. I understand that some people like it for the visual aesthetic and maybe for making the girls believe they are pregnant, but real pregnancy has all of that plus another appealing aspect altogether, so is much better imo. I am not sure why making dealing with the kids in a believable way is difficult when Alex has mind control powers and can set up an adoption scheme for expecting parents and medical personnel in some birthing center with moderate difficulty. I hope you can implement this at least as an alternative to non-existent kids. 99% sure it would satisfy more people.
In my opinion, the pregnancies should be towards the end of the game itself, as a reward for MC for his... "hard" work... giggity!
What you are describing is pseudocyesis. It is often a secondary mental condition in human females who through another mental disorder, like depression or schizophrenia (or maybe mind control) think they are pregnant. They become so convinced they are pregnant their body does everything for a pregnancy, like you described above, without really being pregnant.
I think having a version of this implemented early would be great and help with the “loop”. It will definitely help differentiate from other games of this type. Maybe keep the various stages more simple for now - just no belly and belly - and leave some of the lactation things for later. The core excitement of this is around the risk and the consequences. Risk- wise, Initially being forced to wear protection, then finding a way around it is part of the fun, so hopefully there is a gradual build up, tricky shenanigans or some sort of quest requirement. Consequence wise, if there are no conceptual kids, the characters at least need to believe there are adverse consequences. Honestly, I think whether there are actual children isn’t a big deal. It’s a lewd game, so hand waving the unseen concepts into the shadow realm should be fine(?) One last thing, I think, in sandbox games, tracking the actions done with the various girls adds something to the experience. So I think tracking the number of conceptual kids somewhere makes sense. (Not just pregnancies but other lewd actions as well!).
I think it’s a good idea to get it - at least a version of it - implemented early on, just to also see how you feel about it as well, and to see how much time it takes, whether it’s worth it Etc. I think the concept is great and would be a good way to score additional mind points, tho quick question, more so for clarification. So we will get mind points as a result, but is there still a baby being born additionally? Or is it more so it’s just creating the effects of pregnancy, just without a baby? So really will there be no baby or is there a baby and it’s just for flavour for the game?
Thanks for your input! There won't be a baby at all. It is much more about experiencing the effects of pregnancy on the female body and enjoying its changes.
