Town of Passion 0.4 - Coming October!
The next build for Town of Passion will be arriving late October! 0.4 is a build that I've been so excited to share with you guys. It is the first of many event builds that will really help shape the world in Town of Passion.
The focus of the costumes and scenes of this build will be, as you probably guessed, Halloween themed! In these events, you'll get to see the more carefree side of Valencia, where the characters interact with each other in fun situations. I'm excited to unveil the other two Halloween costumes once they are finished!

As usual with each build, a definitive release date won't be known until much closer to the end once most of the art is finished but since this is a special event, finishing it by the end of the month is a must.
To be as transparent as possible with you guys, my artist, Cullen has begun Uni this week, so it might be a little bit of an adjustment as far as how much work he is able to get done. He is confident that the current pace can still be maintained, so I'm hoping this build (and future ones) are just as content heavy as prior ones.
With that said, there are a lot of fun ideas I have for this game. Trying to find a balance between diversifying updates, and finishing established characters is tough. Know that Nov I'm planning on finishing up the Mom's main storyline. I don't want to leave too many stories hanging and I know many people have asked about her. I'd like to try and start diving into some Monster Girl territory afterwards as well as learn a bit more about Nyx.
Lastly, welcome and thank you to all of the new and returning Patrons (and non-Patrons)! Your guys' support has been incredible. As a community, you guys have been very welcoming and helpful to this project! I appreciate it immensely.

Actual pregnancy isn't planned but impregnation will probably be referenced I'm sure
Is this update only about halloween and costumes or do you have more in mind? A New character or maybe mire of the barmaid?
I could be mistaken and I can't quite remember exactly but I do believe I read somewhere from Siren we will see more of the barmaid in this update yes, it's quite apparent the Mom will have a new costume, how that plays into the game I don't know. From what I know of Siren I wouldn't be surprised if there was a redecorated version of the current town to fit the halloween theme. I also expect other characters may have costumes, especially the Aunt, because it's fitting. All characters will probably have dialogue to fit the season as well. As for the other stuff in mind, aside from generic bug fixes that come with every update I'm not entirely sure, I expect the encounter with Halloween Mom will further the story/plot that we may not know of just yet, in some way. But what we do know is a new area will be opened up, unless it's cancelled, if you go up to where you find the Mom there is a door that says it will be implemented in 0.4 so really the mind wonders what's behind that door. I expect either a cave or a dungeon or another forest-type area. But that's just down to imagination. Overall quite a lot to look forward to as always, I must say Siren's game is very much jam-packed with content each update it appears. I played a game that was on "0.21" version or something similar, it had about 3 scenes, loads of new areas but as for what felt like serious content was very lacking. I would say that game was quantity over quality but this game really seems to favour the balance in-between both, and it does it brilliantly. The wait will surely be worth it, and hopefully it answers some questions, while asking more and leaving us excited for the next one :P

Is this happening when the game asks for your name? It's an issue with yanfly's core engine plugin that affects a very small number of players. I'm still looking for a solution unfortunately.

The diary idea is nice. That would fit into the fantasy World. A room full of npc with which you can chose between the interactions would be an easy way, but i dont think it would fit in this game. Other questions. Was it only me or do you also think minerva Seems to have orgasms during the conversation with the mc?
Haha yeah, I think those are sort of uhh, well like how we are for the game, her being a Goddess can probably see the potential of giving someone such power and that obviously excites her, and maybe Goddess' overall are more open, immortality would eventually teach you to just be open about everything. For reasons that would take too many words to explain.
How many sisters does minerva have and do we get to See and "interact" with all of them? Are you planning, in an update which is far far away atm, to implement an Option to repeat the sexy scenes without ,idk, bath with the Mother again or Visit the aunt AT night? I saw something like this in other games like Urban demons
Now this is an idea I have thought about myself as well, I assumed it'd be at the end. So after you finish the story you get put into a room with loads of npcs and talking to each one will initiate each scene, however that means this has to have an ending. It would be nicer if it was like a hidden room that you can find or something like that, or even better an option in a menu or the main menu? Or possibly even inside the library, that would be slightly roleplay-y and immersive, like you wrote a diary of each time and can read it back and reminisce. Doesn't that sound cool and logical? :P

I hope not but it could be, seems a little risky this early in development to do something like that without affecting the plot in any way, if it is the plus side is that it would be version based so you could always have it on your pc, but no I don't think so. I guess it just happens in game after time or you activate it by doing a certain task or quest or something
