HS2CharEdit v0.1.1.1 release! (Devlog #4)
Announcing the first fully working version of HS2CharEdit!
EDIT, IMPORTANT: If you downloaded v0.1.1.0, please download 0.1.1.1 instead. The first release had a bug that would corrupt any card that was saved. If you ran afoul of that bug, you can fix any corrupted cards by loading them in HS2CharEdit and replacing their images with new ones.
This application will allow the user to do the following:
load a card (Honey Select 2 or Ai Shoujo ONLY)
edit characteristics of a card (note: there are some extended stats still to be added)
change the card image
save changes to a new card or overwrite the old file
Next task will be to add the remaining extended stats which are not on this release (skin color, iris, etc).
Some notes:
Always back up your card first, just in case. I haven't used very robust testing. Nothing should happen, but...
Don't try to save before loading a card. You'll just get an empty file.
If you decide to undo an image replacement, you can use the revert button to do so up until you load another card.
Image replacement will take effect when the file is saved, as will any other edits.

A tool to create a face more easily would be great, something that could be based on photos would be perfect, there are already tools that do this, but nothing else for Studio.
Great job, it would be interesting if it works on the HS1, we could copy the information from an HS1 card to the HS2, in fact it would be very good if we could convert at least the face and body information, the rest you would do manually.
Thanks! I've thought about doing that. There's another tool that reads HS1 cards so you can put them side by side if you want, but I think HS1 cards use a different scale for their stats so I'm not sure if I could do a proper conversion tool. It's on the horizon, if I feel like installing HS1 and messing with its cards. In theory I might be able to do something at least close-ish. Would probably work better for body and for face.
