Farmer's Dreams

Maybe it is not fair to judge you like that, but if you abandon one project (yeah it is only on hold...) we might think you will leave the new visual novel unfinished as well. Just my personal opinion.

Nah personally for me, I enjoy the RPG games way more than the visual novel games.

will you continue the NTR storylines on Love Season?

I love the openness, I personally love Love Season the most and I can't wait to see what you do with it.

Good because its a great game and needs to continue :), but as I said you take care of you and we will be here :)

MuseX here are my 2cents,.... You take your time and recharge if need be, things come around and we all end up tired of doing something we fell out of love with. So you will get back in the groove it will just take a bit longer than is all. I like most love Farmers Dream that does not mean we do not feel for you. This is your game and things will work out just do not pressure yourself into pleasing everyone. You do one thing at a time and things will fall into place. Rest my friend you have earned it just do not give up on Farmers Dream please :)

I would like you return full focus farmers dream's. I like its concept better then love seasons visual novel plus the gameplay. however do understand the need step away from something to regain the motivation to continue the work. Whist it is the reason are a Patreon to you work. This wont change that for the time being go take the time off you require and hopefully the passion to work on farmers dreams comes back.

I've played both LS and FD, and I gotta say, I really do enjoy Farmer's Dreams a lot more, and is also the game that made me support your works in the first place! Having many different choices in a game is pretty nice sometimes, as it feels that the decision one makes has an impact on the game (Such as when choosing Laura over Nina). You've also asked in discord on what would we like to see more in FD, besides just scenes. I've always felt that there's so much more that can be explored in FD, such as more stories with the mermaid (What will happen when we give her a blue flower? Will she be able to transform her tail into legs?), will we be able to visit the town across the bridge? Will we learn more about the bandit raid, the evil hero? Also, more content/scenes with the elf? (Wished I could skip the Elf and Orc scene tho, LOL!). Would R23 be released before being on hold? That being said, I do feel it is really important to have the drive to do things, as it keeps you focused and motivated. Hopefully, the time away will give help to keep you revitalized and motivated again! Looking forward to more content in the future! Take care and stay safe :)

honestly i feel love season is a better story and if that can be continued more easily with FD on a hold than i'm ok with that.......hey its your game MuseX do what you feel is right :)

I really like Farmer's Dreams, but it is obviously quite difficult and time consuming to produce both the 2D elements and the cutscenes whilst keeping the quality of the story line. Love Season is also very good, but it makes sense to focus on one, and Love Season is probably the best option. A lot of devs get bogged down trying to finish a project that has become a millstone around their neck and ceased to be enjoyable, so it's good that you have recognised that problem and concentrated on the one that gives you more pleasure: I am sure that your decision will reflect the continued quality of the VN.

I do not mean this in a negative way, but I had been under the impression for the past couple of months that it was as done as it was ever going to get, so hearing that anything was still being done with it was good to hear. If you do mean to go back to it at some point, more power to you, but either way, please don’t put yourself through something you’re not feeling right on, yeah?

As someone who was introduced to your work with Love Season, and really loves the visual novel format, it is good news to me that Love Season will be the focus. That's the reason why I'm a Patron here. In either event, I fully support you taking a step back, even if it was my preferred game being paused - hobbies should be fun and you should be proud of what you put out. I hope that time away will give you that reinvigoration you need for it be fun again. Cheers!

Hey take it easy, no worries. Personally, ya I like Farmer's Dream alot better than Love Season, but I don't mind waiting for a final project or newer version, especially at the expense of the the dev. Honestly when I first came across this game my first thought was, "Oh another RPG game where you collect girls like Pokemon, might as well give it a try" I immediately loved it. Liked the characters, story & world is interesting, but most of all, I love the Farming! I know a bit about programming, so I can imagine the work load is much bigger on Farmers Dream than Love Season with all the Farming elements, map planning, etc. By all means take all the time you need, I'm a patient guy, I can wait no problem.
