HDT-SMP Braided Hairstyles Pack for Skyrim SE
Includes 3 HDT-SMP hairstyles I made based on some references I found. Hairstyles are unisex.
"Faster HDT-SMP" plugin is required to run the hair physics (available on Nexus).
Also available as wigs + earrings available as equipable item.
Type "help <name of the hairstyle>" in the console to find related ARMO ID and spawn the item with "player.additem <ID> 1" command, or use mods like QUI or AddItemMenu.
ARMO hairstyle names (use it together with "help" command):
Freyja
Astri
Shar (includes 2 ARMO items - wig and earrings)
10/07/2022 Update:
The alternative version of "Shar" hairstyle is added (without tress on the face). The main version of the mod is required for this to work.
09/12/2024 Update:
"Freija" hairstyle's female scalp color fixed.

Hi Fuse. Some comments have mentioned freyja not having physics. I have same problem. Shar no physics too. Astri has physics. Could you make sure everything is correct for it? I am using V1.1 second file.
Hi, I just checked and for me it works fine, for both male and female characters.. honestly can't tell what may be the reason, probably it conflicting with some other mod, or there is small chance that something is wrong with HDT plugin itself, maybe it worth it to reinstall the plugin
what are the differences between the files? :)
_Fuse00HairPackBraided03_SharNoFaceTress.rar - in this archive, Shar hairstyle doesn't have the hair tress on the face (someone asked to make this version), no other differences
Hey i seem to have a problem with this hairpack, im attempting to use it within Nolvus and the scalp of the Freya hair isnt changing colors along with the Hair color, meaning the base of the head stays in a blonde colour while only the hair strands themselves change their color, can you help me out with this?
I reuploaded the mod, please check newer version. The scalp should work ok now.
Thank you very much for the explanation, that is what I figured. When you say adjust the head with sliders, where would that be in racemenu? I've seen head size. There wouldn't be a tutorial on how to fit heads to hair somewhere would there be?
I'm not sure what exactly slider it is, there are few of them, it also depends what head mods/morphs you use, I personally use High Poly Head, there are sliders responsible for forehead shape, face height and such, I use them. There are no tutorial, but that should not be really difficult to achieve, just test a few sliders and you'll eventually found the one that can help. It won't be perfect as of you play human, but it can be done more or less fine
I really love your work, I have a question if that's alright, I'm pretty new to using mods on Skyrim, it could be a load order issue, but when I use the hairs on a Wood Elf/Bosmer they sit really high off the head. Could that be a load order issue on my part, or are these specific to Nord/bigger heads? Thank you for your time!
The thing is that normally hairstyles should be unique for every race, but I do mine only for humans. So yeah, I made it for human head shape and it may look odd on elves. I personally just adjust the head with sliders/sculpt in RaceMenu to make it fit the hairstyle, when I play elves
the freyja hairstyle doesnt have any hdt is that normal? all of the others do
Hi, does both hairstyle in racemenu and wig doesn't work, or only some of them? For both male and female?
Great hairs! I was thinking on asking this for some time but... I love the 'Shar' hairstyle (without earrings) a lot. But can u add a version without the piece of hair hanging at the front? :3
Hi, done
so lovely to have hair other than the usual suspects. Thanks Fuse
I'm really loving these hair mods Fuse excellent work. Are you making any hairs for Fallout 4?
Thanks ;) no, at least not yet.. Fallout doesn't allow HDT physics, and I don't really like "static" hair
