UML 2027 info & release date (updated info)

For anyone who missed it, I will share the quote from our last post here:

"There's a lot things going on behind the scenes, both related to UML and personal life which is causing delays. I was sure I would be able to have everything ready by the end of the month but unfortunately I see now that won't be the case. Trust me I'm the first one who wants this done as soon as possible, but there are a few totally unplanned things going on right now that are consuming a lot of my time. I'm not going to bother you with the details but just know that I'm doing my best to keep this a priority and give you guys what you've been waiting for."

UML 2027 v1 will be out within a few weeks. Again I apologize for the delay, this is strictly on me and not the rest of the team. Manually managing all aspects of the database is no longer possible to be a one-man job so some things will have to change going forward to avoid these delays.
This also changes some things for the Football Life compatible version. Since they announced they will be releasing their first update on November 1st, if it turns out to be fully stable, we will make the compatibility for FL27 v1 instead of FL26 v2.2 like we previously announced. Everything else stays the same.

Here's a few notes about the upcoming first update of UML 2027:

• Rosters updated for all leagues

• Real life contracts set for all players

• All loans set

• Updated formations/lineups

• Updated new player nationality changes

• Updated national team rosters

• Belgian and Greek league swapped for more accurate league structure (starting from season 26/27 Belgian league now has a standard league with no playoffs so for that reason we made a swap, Greek league will now include playoffs as in real life)

• Added new youth players

• Assigned new managers for all teams

• New managers in master league selection

• New 2026/27 season kits for all major leagues and more

• Updated scoreboards and more new exclusive scoreboards

• New boots & gloves + player assignments

• New 2026/27 season entrances

• New 2026/27 season adboards

• New balls for 2026/27 season

Football Life - Compatible with current latest version - FL27 v1 (if fully stable)

VirtuaRED - Compatible with current latest version 10.3

Standalone - Compatible with PES 2021 (Steam version)
