Hey everyone!

Over the past few weeks, I had to move to a new home because my previous rental contract came to an end. It was a pretty hectic period, and I barely had any time to come here and give you guys an update.

The good news is that I'm finally settled into a better place, and almost everything is back in order. That means my focus on Life in Alphaville can finally return to 100%! ❤️

And I have quite a few things to share about what’s coming next.

Gameplay & Story Progression

There will be some changes to the gameplay as we move into the mid-game portion of the story.

From this point forward, some of your choices will start having a much greater impact on the game. One of the major examples will be the possibility of defining whether your character follows a Good or Evil path, with future decisions being influenced by that choice.

We will also begin introducing the first signs of the pregnancy system for some characters.

For this first stage, the focus will be on the three main characters, specifically in this order:

Emily → Olivia → Alexis

This will be an important step for the story and for the direction I want Life in Alphaville to take moving forward.

Hangout System

I'm also in the final stages of writing the Hangouts.

At the moment, there are only five characters left for me to finish the first Beach Hangout route for each of them.

Once this is completed, starting with the September updates, the game will enter a much more complete freetime loop between updates.

This means that after finishing the main content of each update, you'll be able to spend your freetime however you want until the next update arrives:

• Hang out with your favorite characters

• Develop your relationships

• Train your skills

• Work

• Buy items

• Explore different activities

• And much more as new systems are added

The goal is to make the time between major story updates feel much more meaningful and give you more freedom to play the game at your own pace.

Next Update

This weekend, I'll announce the release date for the next update.

I'm sorry I wasn't able to communicate this earlier and that the update ended up being delayed by a week from the date I originally expected.

I wanted to make this post to sincerely apologize and, more importantly, to keep you all informed about what's coming next.
