Update progress — Version 0.8.3

Hello everyone,

I’m making this post to share the current progress of the story leading up to the completion of Update 0.8.3, as well as to inform you about the planned release window for this update.

This will be the first update entirely focused on YOUR choices — meaning the consequences of the Truth or Dare event, along with the ramifications of the different social circles you decided to become part of.

In the main story, Olivia’s actions after Truth or Dare will have a massive impact on the group dynamic. Emily will become more cautious, Alexis more adventurous, and Ryan (only in Normal and Hardcore Game Modes) more persuasive and manipulative. It will be up to the MC to deal with these tensions and shape the group according to YOUR decisions.

The central theme of this update is the new identity this group will develop moving forward. Because of that, the final choice during Truth or Dare will play a crucial role in defining the future of the story. So, if you’re not fully satisfied with the direction your playthrough is taking, you’ll have the opportunity to return to the Truth or Dare event and choose a different ending.

There are a total of nine different Truth or Dare endings, resulting in nine distinct story branches throughout this update. Every choice will lead to different scenes, dialogues, and interactions. I designed this system to make Life in Alphaville feel more immersive and meaningful, reinforcing the weight of player choices while delivering the best gameplay experience possible.

As for the side stories, this update will introduce two incredible optional developments.

The first focuses on the MC’s growing relationship with Stella and Natalie. In this storyline, players will explore possibilities such as stealing Natalie away from Luke, influencing Stella’s corruption, or even losing Stella to Luke entirely — all depending on your initial gameplay choices.

The second major focus will be the extracurricular lessons between Megan and the MC, exploring dynamics related to Femdom or Maledom themes, all alongside one of Alphaville’s most beloved — and hottest — teachers.

I’ve been working extremely hard on this update, and my goal is to deliver it to you by the end of May.
