Update 0.8.0 – Development Notes
Development of Update 0.8.0 is progressing very well. I’m significantly ahead in terms of content, which allows me to breathe a little and dedicate more time to refining the visuals and polishing the script for this release.
With this update, Life in Alphaville will enter the final stage of the character development arc. This phase ensures that you have enough time to build points with the girls, deepen your understanding of their personalities, and explore their unique social niches. After that, we will move into a transition phase — where the consequences of your choices will begin to truly unfold and shape the narrative.
This will likely be the most dynamic and diverse phase the game has experienced so far. The Love and Perv routes will start to differ significantly, offering distinct experiences depending on your decisions. Players who choose the Nice route may miss certain exclusive content — but only if they deliberately decide not to pursue any romantic or intimate connection with a specific character.
I have also been informed about a few bugs. I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused. As a solo developer, it’s possible for one or two things to slip through during release. That said, I’m incredibly grateful for your feedback and enthusiasm. Seeing how invested you are in the story and how much trust you place in this project truly motivates me. You are the reason this game keeps improving.
This Wednesday, I will release the corrected version of Update 0.7.7 for all Patreon tiers, including the reported bug fixes. On March 11, 2026, update 0.8.0 will be released for Patreons in the $15+ tier, along with the patched version 0.7.7 for the public. I chose this date to allow sufficient time for refinement, testing, and to deliver the best possible content for you.
Additionally, I’d like to share that alongside Life in Alphaville, a new project will slowly begin development — still in its early stages and without a release date. My primary focus remains completing Life in Alphaville, but I’m interested in creating a shorter, more streamlined project that maintains the same level of immersion and purpose as LIA. The idea is to build something with fewer characters, more direct progression, and a tightly engaging story.
Stay tuned for more updates! Your feedback means everything. If possible, please consider leaving a review on F95Zone or Itch — it truly makes a difference and helps the project grow.
Thank you all for your continued support!
