Anchorage Inspiration

The CPF - Coastal Picket Force (also known as the Corsair Fleet or Hooligan's Navy) was a short lived special operations force operated by the US Coast Guard off the East Coast of the US during World War II.

A counter submarine(U-Boat) and search-and-rescue force, the CPF ranks were primarily civilian volunteers/mariners operating a mixture of corsairs, fishing craft, motorboats, and yachts up gunned with 30 cals and depth charges.

They were as gangster as gangster gets.

The above images were collected earlier in the design process, though ultimately did not inform the design of the Anchorage MFRT.
