WELCOME TO TOWNLINE 🚒🚧❄️🛻
If you’ve been here since the Woodmeadow Farm Modding days, you’ve probably noticed that things look a little different around here.
That’s because we’ve officially started a new chapter.
For years, I built projects inside the Farming Simulator series. It was a great place to learn, experiment, and figure out what I really wanted from a simulator.
Eventually, though, the ideas got bigger than the platform.
I kept finding myself asking:
“Why am I trying to force all of this into Farming Simulator?”
So instead of working around someone else’s limits, I decided to start building the simulator I actually wanted.
That project is:
TOWNLINE: Public Safety Simulator
TOWNLINE takes place in the fictional town of Mayberry, where rural farmland meets growing suburbs, town roads, neighborhoods, municipal services, and the occasional day that goes completely sideways.
The goal is to create one connected small-town world with a lot more to do than simply waiting for the next scripted call.
Some of the systems and gameplay being developed include:
🚒 Fire and rescue operations
🚑 EMS and emergency response
🚧 Public works and highway operations
❄️ Snow plowing, sanding, ice, and changing road conditions
🛻 Towing and heavy recovery
🌲 Forestry and brush-fire operations
🏗️ Excavation, road construction, utilities, drainage, and material handling
🌧️ Dynamic weather and changing seasons
🚨 Detailed vehicles, tools, equipment, lights, and sirens
🏘️ A living Mayberry with farms, businesses, neighborhoods, roads, and infrastructure
👨🚒 Multiple jobs and roles within the same world
🎮 Single-player gameplay with cooperative multiplayer planned as the project develops
And that list can keep growing.
That’s one of the biggest reasons for building TOWNLINE ourselves.
We’re no longer asking:
“Does the game support this?”
Now the question is:
“How do we build it?”
What happens here on Patreon?
Patreon is going to become the closer, behind-the-scenes look at TOWNLINE development.
You’ll see work-in-progress screenshots, vehicles, equipment, map development, new systems, experiments, development videos, feature discussions, and occasionally the things that spectacularly break before they get fixed. 😄
Different membership levels offer different degrees of access, from simply helping support development all the way through deeper development previews and future testing opportunities.
If you were already supporting WMF Modding before this transition, thank you for sticking around while we take this much bigger step.
And if you’re brand new here, welcome aboard.
There is a LOT still to build.
But Mayberry is starting to come alive.
Welcome to TOWNLINE.
Welcome to Mayberry.
