New Tumblr Pinned Post (Art)
Hi guys, as some of you already know, I've been revamping the Tumblr Pinned post.
Please, give it a like or reblog if you haven't already! I'd really appreciate the help and support!
It's gonna be regularly updated with the newly commissioned paintings of the rest of the ROs. The painting style is gonna be my "marketing art" for the ROs, or at least this is what I intend.
Which btw, brings me to ask... do you guys prefer the line art, or paintings? Paintings are in the style we got to see Frederick and Edward (and soon Astrid!) while line art is everything else so far.
I made a poll below, so please lemme know what you think! The RO paintings commission is already done, we're getting that no matter what. The question is mostly for future art going forward.
Anyways, onto why I changed it. I was always going to do this, but there's a reason WHY I did it now.
I've been hit with a a persistent brain fog for the last two days, so I decided to work on something else that is still KaE related lol.
The old one... sucked. The new one... is adequate, at least for now. At the very least, I'm satisfied.
Oh, and as a bonus, here's a new artpiece, a line art of Nysthe Trevalyn!

Definitely Line Art much better
I tend to imagine a lot of IFs in an anime style (yours included) and the line art matches pretty close.🤔 The painting style looks good, but I personally prefer the line art myself. Can't wait to get to know all these lovely characters!🤗
I think the line art suits better the image I have of your work and it's amazing.
I chose Line art however i find it a little unfair to compare the two as it is 9 vs 1 pieces, and while i do love the Mendrion family their red eyes are still somewhat off-putting to me which may further influence my bias
I really like the change, the way the post and descriptions are presented now, plus having proper art for the characters, makes everything look more polished and nicer. The only thing I noticed was a small typo in Veriel's description: the final part says "Other then this however (...)", it should be "than" instead of "then". I'm not trying to be a smartass at all, just thought I'd point it out in case you want to fix it. Also, the line-art style for Amina gave me Berserk manga vibes for some reason lol
MUCH prefer the line art. By far! But the historical paintings style is a nice touch. I play these games and I wonder what these characters would look like if they actually had paintings like real life royals. But the line art is well cool and a better way to represent them.
Thank you for saying so! I wanted the painting style for the ROs no matter what, for almost the exact same reason you said lol! Well, it was either the painting style, or the glass mosaic style. Might still do simple mosaic style for ingame RO profiles, something similar to what Dragon Age Inquisition did
