In the books daemon did not treat Rhaenyra like in that scene , just forget about it

Aemond rides Vhagar, the last remaining dragon from the original Targaryen conquest of Westeros. Which is why even though Rhaenyra has way more dragons on her side, Vhagar is the largest and has seen the most battle, and has fought other dragons as well. The dragons on Rhaenyra's side are large but not Vhagar large, and have not seen battle like she has.
I know you weren’t fond of the long ass build up which is entirely fair but it really is nostalgic seeing the time when everything didn’t go to sh*t🤣. And watching the two sides of this family come into being and develop separately just amplifies the magnitude of the long, messy, godawful war that follows.
Regarding the scene where Rhaenyra talks to Daemon about the Song of Ice and Fire: don't forget that Daemon was Viserys' heir until he stripped him of that title and gave it to Rhaenyra. The fact that Daemon had no idea what she was talking about shows that it was never really going to be him. That's why he was so angry.

Aemond’s dragons name is Vhagar, and she’s the last of the 3 trio of dragons from Aegon the Conqueror and his 2 sister wives. Aegon has Balerion, his sister Visenya had Vhagar, and his sister Rhaenys had Meraxes. Balerion was the biggest dragon in all of Targaryen history, then Vhagar and Meraxes followed. Rhaenyra’s dad King Viserys was Balerion’s last rider for a short time before the dragon died to old age. Now Vhagar is the oldest and largest dragon, the last remnant of Aegon the Conqueror’s time. So if you think about it, it’s a MASSIVE dragon that’s used to war and conquest, it literally helped CONQUER the seven kingdoms!! Crazy that Aemond has her. 🔥
Rhaenrya's miscarriage was so traumatising. I remember when that aired and I was shocked and even rewatching it with you guys it is horrifying. Emma D Arcy deserves an Emmy Award. Beyond amazing acting.
It's not possible to claim more than one dragon. The only reason Daenerys could is because of blood magic
Daemon was Viserys' heir before Rhaenyra so he should've been told about the prophecy but Viserys didn't tell him

Yeah it’s good to temper your expectations for HotD, especially before season 2. It ain’t game of thrones but I am hoping yall get to knight of a seven kingdoms too cause I think that’s a much better GoT IP.

If Rhaenyra was smart she would've spent a couple years visiting King's Landing and the noble houses of Westeros to make alliances and reaffirm the oaths the lords swore to her. Instead, she didn't engage with politics at all and allowed the Greens to grow their influence uncontested
Yes but fellas in kings landing acted fast with the coronation. Also all the lords would rather see the eldest son of viserys become king, rather than a woman
