The Texas Chain Saw Massacre

Why haven’t y’all finished the Scream series

Don’t be fooled. This film is loosely based on Ed Gein who is known for killing 2 people along with digging up graves and making furniture out of human skin and other remains. 99% of this film is purely fiction

Check out Halloween series

Check out Ed Gein on Netflix it’s 8 episodes it based on his real life & he’s played by the main character of Sons of Anarchy it’s pretty good

Everything in this movie is fictional, but the killer is based on a real killer named ed gein. They dropped a Netflix thing about it not long ago pretty good watch

let’s goooooo finally !!

This is a good pick but I think 2003 is better

Need Halloween next

this is by far the most disturbing films ive seen

Great reaction top 5 jump scares. This up there with y'all reaction to Jaws . You two almost jumped off the screen When he appeared out of nowhere. Epic moment

damn for this to have been made in 1974 this looks extremely good.

Shoshana youre thinking of Derry, Maine and probably Hawkins, Indiana haha

Y’all gotta check out The Wolfman (2011) version, Silver Bullet and The Wrong Turn (2001)

Shout out to the Wrong turn name drop . Good Horror movie.

Please react to the recent one on netflix

that ending was definitely something

I think it's real . I'm not going to the house to find out . So the legend continues. 🔥 Pick

Being from Texas ofcoarse this one of my favorite movies . My friend big into Halloween he say the house is real . But they blocked it off because people kept coming to the property. People from here definitely believe this a real story . If it is real . Nobody was able to tell obviously. 👻 . This movie in a lot of people top 10 in horror .

such a W pick 🔥 btw the 2003 reboot of the film is considered 1 of the best reboot’s in all movie media.. hoping we can get to that 1 day 🙏

It was loosely based off of Ed Gein mainly the skin mask which he actually had and the furniture made with body parts and he was a grave robber, but he only had 2 confirmed kills, and one women he had strung up upside down in a barn and skinned

Halloween 🎃🔪?

I'm born and raised in Texas. When I tell you my cousins and I thought these movies were actually based on real events growing up...these movies scared the sh** out of us.

I forgot how 70s this movie feels So it's cheesy but being the first Leatherface of the franchise holds up as the OG, they have hit and misses, I personally like the 2003 version and the beginning 2006

You guys should continue to watch The Conjuring series, you still have "The Devil Made Me Do It" and Ed and Lorraine's last one "Last Rites." Two pretty solid movies for the spooky season.

Yall goin hard in the yard in early October with this one. I respect it

23 minutes in and it is cute and hilarious that ya'all are thinking supernatural lol

I hope they watch Halloween

This was filmed not far from where I live.

Horror movies back then didn’t really have jump scares back then because it’s more the atmosphere and the story that led to the scares

The final shot of the movie with leatherface freaking out was basically real as the actor, Gunnar Hansen basically had enough with the working conditions on set and and put all his frustrations into that fit intentionally scaring the director and then tossing the chainsaw into the bushes. Which it must have been hell on this film since everyone has said he was extremely nice and polite and a true professional.

It was loosely based off serial killer ed gein who killed 2 people confirmed maybe more but was also heavily involved in grave robbing and stealing body parts. But In his house there was furniture made from human skin, bowls made from the top of skulls just really a bunch of body parts being used as weird different things. But the family and the movies story is all fiction

The movie based on a real serial Killer named ed gein

Definitely watch the 2003 one

Leatherface and Michael Myers, two of my favorite horror villains Can't wait for more of Leatherface in the future and hopefully Michael Myers too.

Check out the Friday the 13th series when you get the chance

If anything in this seemed unintentionally funny it was intentional. nobody at the time saw it that way so when Tobe Hooper directed the sequel he made it a straight up satire and comedy. The grandpa bits are even more ridiculous and funnier in the sequel

Once again asking for As Above So Below🫡 I think you guys would love it!! Hoping for a poll for scary movies in october

This movie is such a disturbing experience.

Wow. I have to say even if you did or didn’t enjoy this one the second one I think is great to. It was directed by the same man Tobe Hooper but it is a parody and satire of the first film. If you look up the poster it should let you know right away it’s not meant to be taken seriously and its really darkly funny.
