The Shawshank Redemption

He didn’t say “it would be some huge rock”… if you pay attention he says “black volcanic glass”. But I can see how you’d get the two confused. 🙄
Brooks was inspired by a real inmate. They made a movie about him called “The Birdman of Alkatraz.”
Look at a young dale from the walking dead. The prosecutor against Andy.
I can't lie, I think my favorite moment was at the end, when Red was talking about how excited he was to see his friend again, and then both of them being reunited on the beach. Just after everything you've seen Red go through in his long life in prison, and even though he felt he wouldn't make it on the outside, one thing kept him going, and that was Andy. He gave him hope to go on. So his freedom, rather than ending sadly like Brooks, ended up being a beautiful reunion and the start of a new life with his friend. The same could be said for Andy, just in a different way. It was so pleasing seeing the whole thing with him getting out, and getting the word out about the warden and his guard to get them arrested. He planned everything so brilliantly, and he got out all on his own, and made a life for himself and got to live his dream, and we see it. and he deserved that and so much more for wrongfully going to prison for 19 years. I'd say his escape is the second favorite part for me. The two most obvious ones I guess, but they're meant to be the biggest moments of the story lol. Anyway, I think I did watch this one before, but I had fun watching it with you guys again. Thanks for reuploading! :) Really enjoyed your reaction.
