This is a great episode, and it perfectly plays off the tension we saw earlier this season in the villainous group therapy session. HOWEVER… I used to think they just picked Sokka and Zuko to go on a random adventure for character building. Now I’m realizing they sort of had to. If they had just simply asked literally any other member of the party to go with them they probably could have cleared the prison in ten minutes and freed everyone. Katara could have parted or dissipated or even weaponized the water. Toph could have rearranged the earth. Aang honestly could have solo’d the whole thing and they’d have been in and out before Azula got there. Of course they would have missed freeing Sokka’s dad, so 🤷‍♂️

I love that you said "it's about time" when Mai and Ty Lee betrayed Azula. People tend to forget/overlook the fact that Azula made Mai call off the deal to trade King Bumi for her little brother. And as you mentioned, she coerced Ty Lee into joining through threat of physical harm. When their loyalties are truly tested (Mai with her love for Zuko, and Ty Lee with her love for Mai), their betrayal was bound to happen. Good stuff! I'm finally caught up with these reactions and I'm so excited as we get close to the finale!

I love your reaction, guys, but—like nearly every other reactor—there is one specific part of it that I didn't like. You guys, just like almost everyone else, blamed the guy and got mad when he was about to reveal the mastermind behind the escape. But it was made clear that he didn't talk initially and only "planned" to speak after he was tortured. I've never understood how reactors sitting in comfy chairs can blame innocent people for breaking under torture and not being able to take it. You guys would probably have broken much earlier. Most of the time, it's people who have no idea what that kind of pain is like who get mad when someone finally breaks. As i said no offense i love your reactions and i am always excited when you make a new upload but that was something i just didnt like
