The Giant Robots you were curious about are 'Sentinels' from X-men.. The comic accurate ones.. You first saw them in Fox's X-men 3 when Colossus throws Wolverine at the beginning during their training simulation and wolverine cuts its head off and says 'class dismissed'... Then you later saw them in Days of Future Past but a smaller version of them, developed by Trask industries where they used Mystiques changing ability to make them adaptable to mutant powers. These ones in this trailer, are fully comic accurate Sentinels.

Doom is going to kidnapped Franklin, Captain Americas child and probably Thors daughter maybe because of there powers they have definitely Franklin I dont know about Captain Americas child obviously going to play a part in this why he's returning but its just a speculation but there really hyping everything up now. Those are Sentinels. They've been in a lot of Xmen stuff including a tiny bit in one of the live action movies, Xmen Days of Future Past in 2014. They are basically designed to subjugate mutants. So they are no joke...

I swear to god if Doom kills Magneto in Doomsday I am going to be an emotional wreck. Before Doom or Thanos or Ultron or Loki there was one big bad of the FOX Marvel movie universe and it was always Magneto. But Sir Ian McKellen is 87 and I have a feeling they're going to want to put the character to bed. I am not ready.

They are just sentinels or some variation of the ones from the comics. It think they are severely upgrading dooms powers in this cause in the comics Thor would slam that hammer into his head. Now he has outsmarted him before but a one on one pure fight no way comic doom wins.
