You haven't got Hurley's backstory yet
He didn't ask if Walt wandered off on his own or if Locke pulled him away. Walt knows Walt respected Locke already. It looked like Michael was jealous of Locke.

I’m excited to see how your reactions to this show evolve. Most of the shows you’ve done have been post-streaming, which means fewer episodes and a different style of pacing (they had to plan storytelling beats around commercial breaks so you wouldn’t turn the channel. Shows had to actually compete for your eyes back then). It takes a lot longer to get to the huge moments but there’s way more time for character development. There’s 25 episodes with a 3 episode finale for instance. That just doesn’t really happen anymore.
As a bartender I have made ALL the faces yall made in this episode. Ever have to awkwardly sit through a grown adult being a bad parent in real life? It’s SO uncomfortable. They captured that perfectly in some of these scenes. The storytelling in this show is so nuanced. Genuinely one of the best ever.

I'm glad Michael had the drawings because Walt's mom was awful to Michael, he really wanted to be his dad. Michael waa just too nice making up excuses for his mom and Brian.

Technically you haven’t seen the Korean guy’s backstory, you’ve only seen it from the wife’s perspective. I’m pretty sure his and Hurley’s flashbacks will be coming soon.

As far as I know, if you want to appreciate the show. Have a good time watching it, live in the moment. Don’t try to think to much or resolve the all thing at the end of each episodes

Ugh. Walts mother is a manipulative psycho. Has a kid and deprived him of his father because it's inconvenient. Walt needed to get a job sure but its never ok to deprive a child of a loving parent. She also threw the court system in his face which is disgusting. I actually genuinely think her character is psychopathic in her acting and actions. I'm so glad yall saw right through her bullshit.
