seeing how suspicious you are of locke is too funny same for the distain for shannon, really normal to have the first time watching. but i also have seen people understand these characters faster. people dont like shannon because she is "useless" even tho without her they wouldnt know what the transmission actually said and that their situation is more complex than landing on some random island. its also funny how us viewers watch this show judging shannon when in reality the average person would be as useful as her in such a situation. and the polar bear thing i've never heard before and i have seen like 10 lost reactions lol but early theories are always funny, charlie really was just saying "its a teeny tiny version of that" but was referring to the monster which he hadnt even seen, so i always just took it as him saying that whatever the monster is, it is bigger than the polar bear, not necessarily that the monster is a big polar bear but i like the theory lol

Lol this show is already breaking yalls ankles with the twist in the pilot, this is gonna be a feast. This show really teaches to never judge people too quickly and its important to remember this show is first and foremost a character driven drama

As someone commented, john lock, the old guy with the scar on his face is Commander Beale from the ones who live. though you would see much more of this actor here and his character have one of the saddest backstories ever.

Fun fact, this was the most expensive pilot episode ever made at the time it aired (2004) and the executive at ABC who greenlit the series was fired for making such an expensive decision. Obviously hindsight proved it was the right call since this show absolutely dominated ABC for years and really paved the way for modern TV to be what it is today

You'll be happy to know Shoshanna that there are no snakes in the entirety of lost. Filmed in Oahu island Hawaii which lacks a local land snake population. Other animals........well have to see.
