What gives this movie more credit was that even though yes, Jaafar Jackson is Jermaine Jackson's son and Michael's nephew. There is a video on Youtube where Jackie, Tito and Marlon declared that not only is Jaafar playing Michael but he literally embodied and became MIchael and it was so emotional for them they thought they were watching their brother

The craziest thing is thriller is still the best selling album of all time but Michael Jackson’s first ever solo tour was for the bad album. Which is also the only solo tour he ever did in America, and since he never got to tour for thriller that’s why some of those songs were sung on the Jackson’s Victory tour instead. All of which is insane to think about knowing what kind of a legacy and career he had. He wrote a letter to his bodyguard Bill saying he was basically the only father he ever knew and thanking him for everything he did. There’s a video of him getting ready to walk in the street with his lama. 500+ people reportedly fainted at his concerts regularly so ems crew was often overwhelmed and it was hospitals busiest day of the year. The movie ends with an intro to the bad album. Someone I know Nate played younger Jackie and they did all the dancing themselves and sung live too but the vocals are mainly Michaels and the Jackson’s some are blended with the actors. The movie needed to gross 700 mill to get a sequel but they green lit the second movie at 200 mill it’s now at 900 mill on track for 1 billion at the box office.

Also in the end the Bad live performance that's Jaafar and it was actually the first scene he shot for the movie. Quite a few Jackson family or business people who knew Michael showed up to watch Jaafar shoot this scene and was crying. They kept thinking it was really Michael. And Michael son,Prince, was in the movie before he walked on stage on the working day and night (I think) performance
Fun fact the the thriller video in the movie was shot on the same street as the original and it was a full moon the night they shot the scenes so to them it felt ment to be type vibes
Michael made friends with a lot of super famous people because they understood him. He was friends with Elizabeth Taylor. MacCauley Culkin. Joe Pesci. But overall yes a lonely soul. He did have relationships but kept them private. He was married to Lisa Marie Presley (Elvis daughter) for some time and they remained friends for life.
I didn’t like how they skipped so much of his life and made his dad look evil as if they never laughed together, it was a complicated relationship, also Janet is missing, Diana Ross was preying on him as a child , thriller video wasn’t that easy to put on mtv, they skipped 4 years at the end he did we are the world and captain eo in those years they made it seem like he never talked to his brothers. The good: jafar jackson and the makeup team were excellent 10/10

W film & reaction 🔥 probably the safest way to depict a biopic like this, michaels nephew killed it & yeah vince all those moves were indeed from the actor himself.. from all the negative reviews most people i just feel like wanted this to touch on all the drama & etc but they did this perfectly imo —— sequel is indeed in the works if i’m not mistaking
People wanted a balanced and accurate take of his life not a curated one, that's where the negative reviews came from.
There will be a sequel to tell the second half of his life.

Crazy story the little actor who played little Michael Juliano Krue Valdi, my and Auntie I were in J row seat in Harkins and the person who was sitting by us was Juliano Auntie and we didn't find this out until the end credits, cause she showed us a picture of him and her, I was just Speechless. Theres a older biopic of Micheal where he appears at the end . So I believe everything in that movie is true . People used to say Micheal was the first artist to have grown men and women passing out I'm the crowd . That's the Aura he had . The movie did 700 mil world wide . They say it will be a 2nd movie .

Yea she’s ophidiophobic. She explained that when she was younger she had an experience at the zoo where she saw a huge snake eat a rat and ever since then she’s hated them. She’s gotten better over the years tho like small snakes don’t bother her as much anymore but big ones like that are a huge no no for her.

I knew we were gonna get this tonight. I’m glad I stayed up. 1:10 This is my first time seeing this movie, but yes Jaafar Jackson is Michael’s nephew. I heard he had to go thru a lot of prep to portray his uncle to a tee, even down to the moonwalk. Back in March 2024 just after we started recovering from the Hollywood strikes, they filmed the Toys R Us sequence up in Burbank. The location they used was once a Kmart store. Next time I’m there, I’ll take a picture of the location and share it in the chat.
