Avatar: The Last Airbender (Season 1 - Episode 2)

Favorite show ever, season 3 is a masterpiece in animation quality and character growth

As you were saying in the beginning, this show is all one story line as opposed to something like SpongeBob where you can watch any episode and not be confused about the story or personalities of the characters. I will say its a beautiful story! One of my favorites, it’s got pretty much everything.

Aang is, like the title says, the last Airbender. He is also THE Avatar. There is only one Avatar and the airbenders were a race of nomadic monks that aren't around anymore.

Such an amazing show. Friend of mine finally got me to watch it years ago. I was reluctant cause I thought it was another basic nickelodeon show. Boy was I wrong. Way ahead of its time.

Two things: 1. The animation quality definitely improves over time. The overall "maturity" and adultness improves over time as well. So if you like the core show but you are worried about that stuff like I was, you'll enjoy this. 2. Every type of bending and it's associated movements you see the characters do, is based on actual martial arts movements. Each type of bending (air, fire, water, etc.) is based on either one or a mix of two or them. These were actually developed by a martial arts expert they brought on. You see a lot of the related philosophies within some characters like Iroh as well.

I want the whole show now 😭 it just gets better and better every season

The idea that nobody has seen an airbender at all in like 100 years let alone fight one like the fire ship had to just makes aang even more powerful
