EmuDeck Android 0.976 - CloudSync Beta

-----------

There seems to be a bug when you have your roms in your SD Card, working on it!

-----------

Hello everyone!

New update for the EmuDeck Android Beta now with CloudSync!

Fixes in this build

  • RetroArch EmuDeck can now be used with other launchers besides Pegasus. Remember that if you don't use Pegasus you'll need to manually install your cores in RetroArch since right now only Pegasus allows RetroArch core side loading.

  • Odin Controllers should work out of the box, no longer being detected as Retroid Pocket controllers

  • We've added netherSX2 as the default PS2 Emulator instead of ARMSX2 since its performance and compatibility is still better. It's not compatible with CloudSync yet.

To get this update just open your EmuDeck App and it will update itself.

Super excited for this one! I have noticed though, that even with brand new set up of all emulators through the emudeck app, I don't get a cloud save feature for dolphin. It works for retroarch. In the cloud sync menu. It only shows the option retroarch. Any ideas?

Are you using our Dolphin Fork?

I'm excited to download this, thank you! One question, do I have to delete my old emulators before getting emudeck on android? I understand that emudeck uses its own forks for emulators and was wandering if getting emudeck would delete my current saves

I've edited the post, PS2 emulation is back, no CloudSync for PS2 yet though.

What is the reason why this wouldn't work on android phones? What makes handhelds special?

I've discovered that handhelds have a less restricted sandbox, for instance my Dolphin changes won't work on a Samsung S22 and in other phones they do work but then the emulator is painfully slow. Since there are millions of different Android phones we can't focus on then at the beginning. So the plan is to first make it perfect on handhelds and then start testing on phones
