Status report!

Hi, just a quick update on what I'm working on right now:

• EmuDeck Android "Companion App"

I'm working on the finishing touches of a new app for Android to accompany the EmuDeck installer, I'm really excited about it since I've been working on it in the shadows for more than a year now but it's not ready yet, it will be ready soon...but not yet.

• EmuDeck Android + CloudSync

Force upload / download is working but still needs more internal testing before sharing it with all of you. Also, on device setup is a challenge, that part works fine with EmuDeck Cloud, SFTP and SMB but other providers like Dropbox are still being worked on and might not be there on the first release. This will come as an automatic update from within the app.

• EmuDeck 3 or 2.8

The big rewrite is going well, 95% of the Linux / SteamOS code is complete and tested, and about 80% of the Windows code. This rewrite will see EmuDeck using pretty much the same codebase for every desktop OS for the first time so it's a big deal but since it won't have barely any new features I'm still not sure if using the 3 moniker is overkill so it could end up being "just" 2.8. macOS is probably at like 30% complete btw.

I don't have an estimated time for any of those projects but they will probably launch in that same order, companion app first, then CloudSync for Android and finally EmuDeck 2.8/3

PS: A new Playnix console batch is coming soon, I've finally find some people I can trust to delegate the building and manufacturing so things will go sooo much smoother than the first time. Expect a small price increase because RAM and SSDs are like luxury items these days :(
