This is a really obscure request, but there's an anime called Baccano! (The ! is part of it) That is only 16 episodes, and it is my absolute favorite. I just joined, mainly for musicals, but I would love to see you react to that

I love code geass but only doing 2 episodes a week is brutal. It's 50 eps so this will take half a year to complete. It would be better as a stream because would finish it in half the time and get more outta per watch session. That's just my opinion.

It's not on the list, but I was thinking a great patreon exclusive would be FLCL (original 6 episodes). It's short and full of copyright pillows music. Plus it's a classic, imo, and the look of complete confusion on Luke's face would be great 👍

Code Geass is kinda overrated and for the number of episodes it could pack longer story. I guess it is nice position if you want to see "mind fight" between two characters... but Death Note pulled that way better.

Personal opinion is that K-On is a far better music anime than Bocchi the Rock. In terms of story, production, and characters K-On seemed more realistic, where Bocchi seemed more contrived. This is not to say Bocchi was unenjoyable, just that K-On is subjectively superior.

I wanted to recommend a version of Code Geass that still has the Pizza Hut product placement, so I looked it up, but it looks like only the pirated version still has it.

Let's be real here. The only two shows in this poll that would make sense for a Patreon-exclusive are Goblin Slayer and Monogatari. The rest are shows more suited for the YouTube channel. Can't say nothing about Castlevania though since I haven't seen it.

Overlord

Both Code Geass and Monogatari are really good, but I feel like Code Geass is something that everyone should watch. Also the Monogatari means the whole series or Bakemonogatari? The Monogatari series is quite long if it's the full.

Three of these (maybe 4, haven't seen Mongatari) are really short and you could finish them in a hand full of weeks if you did it in 2 episode batches. I think you should do choice number 2 and then commit to one of the longer choices. Then again, your almost caught up on Dr. Stone, so maybe these smaller ones could replace that streaming marathon slot.

I really like Monogatari and it would probably be best suited to patreon exclusive due to the amount of music that takes place in episodes. One of my most beloved anime series in its entirety. However I cannot say it beating out code geass. Which is also very good. I just hope luke one day reacts to Monogatari beyond the OPs.

I hope people eventually start voting for raunchy comedies for the Patreon exclusives, just to change things up from all the serious, dark anime series. Grand Blue and Prison School immediately come to mind.

Ok... How tf is Monogatari and Goblin slayer above Rising of Shield Hero or Overlord! Honestly, its a crime that Luke hasnt seen Overlord yet I haven't been keeping up with the uploads for a little while and saw a bunch of shows hes watched since then, but none of them are what I was hoping for!!! Overlord has to take HIGH priority, before any of these (except maybe code geauss) since it is pretty similar to Reencarnated as a Slime except WAY better character building and in my opinion just a way more fun concept. I think of it as the more serious, dark, big brother of slime. Shield hero is one of the better Isekai animes right now, with Slime, Overlord, Re-Zero, and a very select few others. I would certainly not put Mushoko Tensei anywhere on that list, I can't believe hes stuck watching that... Other than that, I was positive that Luke would have started binging One Piece on twitch by now! I mean come one, he said he would DEFINITELY start One Piece at some point on twitch when he was just startin to watch AOT, I was surprised when he didn't start right away! I WANT ONE PIECE!!!!! I would like to suggest "Higurashi When They Cry" and "Umineko When They Cry" to get in the polls. Luke had seen too much dark animes and he should have a rest with something cute and relaxing. Besides, "Umineko When They Cry" 's op and ed are two of my favorite anime song.

I think something that is pretty long would be good, but I also don't want it to be so long that it prevents Mushoku Tensei from returning for a long time once it's airing again. Code Geass fits the amount of time pretty well imo. I'd love to see Bocchi eventually though.

Code Geass winning over Bocchi is a shame since it means we'll have to wait a really long time for it to be replaced. Bocchi is short so it would be fast to watch and move on to the next show, but with Code Geass it'll take a while, for anything else to take the patreon spot, unless Luke makes another patreon only spot. I'm fine with Code Geass winning, but overall I think it would be better to watch Bocchi first, since it's shorter and it wont take long for Code Geass to replace it.

Monogatari is a 10/10 masterpiece that will always have my vote but I’m not opposed to Code Geass which is good in its own right. It may actually be better to get a few more relatively straightforward shows like Geass, Goblin Slayer, Bunny Girl Senpai, etc under Luke’s belt before he jumps into a very advanced anime like the Monogatari series

Monogatari is absolutely one of the greatest animes if you like artsy shit, but its mostly for veteran watchers. Theres so many references to both anime and japanese culture in and of itself that its hard for someone who is new to this to actually understand most of the content in an episode. I chose Code Geass since im sure he is gonna enjoy it a shitton. And patiently waiting for monogatari. I do very much hope he watches re:zero to the latest episode

Though I've never watched Monogatari or Bocchi the Rock, so it could be kind of fun to go into those series blind as well, watching with you rather than watching for your reaction to stuff I already know.

Since Luke also asked about future picks: I think that Symphogear would be a good Patreon exclusive reaction somewhere in the future. Not only the Anime necessarily, but also the openings. It did get a lot of votes during the last stream vote for an OST reaction (Tsukihime won though). So the interest is there. And i know that Symphogear has insane copyright issues on YouTube, which would definitely make Patreon the right place. Not surprising honestly... 'Cause Symphogear is not only a music based action anime, but most characters are being voiced by actual music artists, which also do sing the openings and the entire OST. Personally I like Monogatari, but its very dense and artsy (no clue how to describe) together with heavy Japanese Folktales and references I doubt Luke would understand much and be just permanently confused. That's why I just chose the save choice that is Goblin Slayer.

Isn't Code Geass just another shounen mecha/military show? It certainly has high ratings, so surely it must be more than that? I can't see it as a great replacement for MT, unless it has something really special about it. My vote goes to Bocchi as it's nice and short and a change of pace from all the serious stuff (Luke deserves a laid back anime every now and then).

I went with Bocchi but I think you can't go wrong either way (maybe except for Monogatari due to the sheer size of everything related to it). Code Geass is one of my favorite anime but I have more of a Bocchi rewatch itch going on xD

Code Geass. watched it on Dub when i started anime watching never figured its one of the special Animes that nailed the Dubbing. Boring yes will you get Diabetes yes and you will love it.

The English dub for Code Geass is the best, all voice actors are great including Johnny yong Bosch for Lelouch, he does an amazing job voicing him especially with a certain scene that I love.

Not quiet sure. But thinking about it, Goblin Slayer or Bocchi might be the best choice. Bocchi mainly because of the ridiculous copyright issues which would make it semi-impossible to watch on YouTube and Twitch. Also, it's apparently well loved. Can't say much more since i never saw it. Goblin Slayer, since it's not only pretty gorey and dark at times but also has some other adult themes like r@pe, which could get Luke in trouble on other platforms. Plus, beside some twitter weirdos, most people a praising it a lot. Castlevania is also quiet bloody and dark at times, but it's pretty mild compared to Goblin Slayer. Granted since it's it's a Netflix show. So maybe it could also be watched on Twitch. Maybe not on YouTube though, 'cause of 2 certain scenes i was just informed about by other commentator. Code Ceass i wouldn't pick at all. Granted it's an amazing older anime. But i think it would be better for YouTube or Twitch. Especially since it's not only more tame in every aspect (compared to the other picks), but would less likely get Luke into trouble. Especially with the TV version. There are some few scenes of nudity. But that's only in the DVD version, not the original TV version. So the TV version is absolutely safe to watch on YouTube. And i know that many Youtube and Twitch followers desperately want to see Luke watching Code Geass, since it always pop up in comment sections and stream chats. They would be pretty pissed if it became an exclusive, despite us having a SFW TV version. Going by that, i believe that Goblin Slayer or Bocchi are better picks for Patreon, where Luke will not run into trouble. While the other two could be left for YouTube or Twitch. Maybe even replaced with some other anime picks which Luke definitely can't watch on YouTube or Twitch. So for me: 1 Goblin Slayer or Bocchi 2 Castlevania 3 Code Geass 4 Monogatari Series EDIT: Forgot writing about Monogatari. It should be pretty save for YouTube and Twitch, by what i remember. And personally speaking, i would wish he watched all Monogatari series in chronological or at least release order. Like he did with the FATE Series. So starting out with either Kizumonogatari or Bakemonogatari. But maybe after Fate, so he doesn't burn himself out. And there is the issue of it being infodumping and dialogue heavy. Not even mentioning the heavy influence by Japanese culture and mythologies and Japanese puns. I don't think Luke already knows enough about those things to really appreciate the monogatari series. All things which might not be ideal for reaction videos. But that is up to Luke to decide. EDIT 2: Added some stuff.

I really liked this creator. I wished they would just take a stance and choose what they want to watch and how they want to watch it though. Because then you are watching something someone is happy about atleast. I mean who has been watching for over 1 month and genuinely reccomended "bocchi the rock".

Code Geass was certainly popular with teenagers. But what about for Luke? I think everyone would enjoy it more if they saw a film appropriate for their age. There are so many more interesting Anime out there, yet this is the choice... It's a shame.

Code Geass is already winning!!! (Fair warning, you can skip the movies. They're... iirc, the first 3 are recaps of the 2 seasons, with slight edits and new scenes to justify the alternate universe that is the 4th movie. It's just not worth in the end, imo)

The Monogatari series? I honestly don't think you're ready for that. That's a series that would blow your mind atm. It's hard enough to follow if you're not Japanese in the first place. Since the entire series is steeped in Japanese myth and culture and language.

Hey Luke, since Code Geass and Monogatari are on the longer side, have you considered giving them the double episode treatment similar to how you're doing the director's cut for re:zero? Could help with viewer fatigue for those who wanted something else if they take 3/6 months instead of 6/12 months.

I vote for Castlevania, I like the gore aspect of it too much, and characters are great too. I like it with Japanese dub more, but the eng one is also nice. Anyway, yeah, that’s my vote, even though Code Geass is classic

Really hope for monogatari, even though I’m aware that it probably doesn’t stand a chance against code geass due to it having less mass appeal. Anyhow, hope you give it a try someday, it had a lot of impact on the anime landscape, even to this day and is definitely something one should have given a proper chance at least once in their time of watching anime.

I certainly don't expect Castlevania to win, but thanks for remembering and including it. I'll happily take anything other than Goblin Slayer since that seems mostly because of the first episode. Code Geass and Bocchi the Rock are both good watches. I'm intrigued about Monogatari, but it is a long watch, so I'd prefer the others beforehand.

While monogatari is great it's just too strange to be the Patreon show it much more fits a streaming platform where you can actively discuss each scene

Like I've mentioned in a couple of comments already, I think Code Geass is probably the right choice. I love Monogatari to death, but I think it might be too challenging for Luke at this point.
