TAYLOR SWIFT *HUNGER GAMES MOVIE SONGS* - "Eyes Open x Safe & Sound" | FIRST TIME REACTION!

I love Safe & Sound. It’s so haunting and beautiful. Have you reacted to her song from “Where The Crawdads Sing”? If you liked Safe & Sound I think you’ll love it. It’s a dark, and haunting and mysterious. It’s a very Folklore/Evermore style song.

Just watching your Miss Americana reaction and you were talking about the creation of ME! And made me wonder if you have reacted to the Making of a Song sessions she did for reputation

Try CMT Crossroads with Taylor and Def Leppard - pour some sugar on me. They did a whole concert https://youtu.be/82ilugRfQhU?is=v1plVBVXvfjqIz8t You might be able to get the dvd online if you want to react to the whole thing

You need to watch the Hunger Games again and you’ll realize safe and sound matches perfectly!

I’ll follow you wherever you go, I love your Taylor reactions!! 🤗

In safe and Sound, it's widely believed that Taylor is supposed to be portraying the ghost of Katniss' younger sister, Primrose, and that after she died, her soul went back to District 12, which had been bombed, and is now singing out to her sister, Katniss

I’ve always taken the eyes open lyrics as talking to someone in the games. “everybody’s waiting for you to breakdown, everybody’s watching to see the fallout” seems like it’s talking about the capital citizens who watch the hunger games to be entertained and see the tributes fight and who dies. “even when you’re sleeping, keep your eyes open” feels like telling the tribute to watch their back because they can die in their sleep in the games. Then there’s the bridge, “keep your feet ready, heartbeat steady. keep your aim locked, the night goes dark.” which feels like it’s talking about what the tributes have to do in the games, they have to be ready to run (feet ready) or to kill each other to survive (aim locked).

And I agree, I would watch your reactions wherever they were for Taylor and many others! For anyone upset about things being moved, if your channel doesn’t succeed, then ALL reactions would be in danger of stopping, so you do whatever you need to do to keep this going and we’ll watch 🙏🙏💙💙

Joy Williams and John Paul White (The Civil Wars) Their voices are amazing. They first recorded this song back in 2011 with Taylor and sadly they broke up back in 2014 but did come back together for the re-recording on Taylor’s Version in 2023. This song actually won a Grammy. Always hoped that they would get back together, but never happened.
