So.. all that ''peace'' talk from last episode was worthless ?? :DD oh boy looks like Rhine Theater is back in business next episode xD
So very same Luke :DD the dude ask the church too ? and i was like.. Especially the church :DD
Pretty clear why Tanya wants the war over at any cost - she's tired of Being X's "acknowledge me or I'll keep sending everyone to kill you" game. As smart as she is, she forgot one thing, though: no country is going to willingly (unless their back is up against the wall and they've already basically lost) give up everything they've gained in a war for peace - not when they've expended as much in sunk cost as they already have. And the fact that based on one conversation with Tanya the reps from Ildoa assumed the Empire would is proof that they wear their own asses as hats.
10m50s It appears that the Empire wants to make the Salamander unit look 2 or 3 times bigger by having paperwork that says there are 2 or 3 other Salamander units with Rerugen in command. Since the Ilduan observer is only at the real salamander he'll assume the 2 or 3 other non-existent units are just as capable. IOW, Empire is putting on a act to look stronger than they really are so the Ilduans don't think they're desperate.
"we will now start the operation: extermination" how funny would it have been if they said that😂
Luke, I remind you that "Russy" is a communist country, and like the communist country in which it was based, religion was prohibited, therefore the churches were destroyed, or expropriated to be used for other things, for that reason it does not have any religious symbols.
hmm i cat play the video is this just me?
I would say that Tanya messed up here again. She does want the war to end, but by conducting herself "by the book" and strictly adhering to the law, she ended up shocking the observer. She thinks she is coming across as a normal person, but instead she is coming across as a fanatic who will blindly follow orders to a fault. This leads the Ildoans to believe that the frontline officers are dispassionate like her, and will accept a peace treaty without question. However, the last scene with Weiss shows that in actuality it is almost impossible for them to happily accept peace. The peace offer they received was quite arrogant. Basically from the empire's perspective they have done nothing but win over all these countries that have attacked them, losing tons of people and spending huge amounts of money only to be told their sacrifice is all for nothing. If the peace offer had been a bit more balanced the empire could have probably found a way to accept it, but instead pride has gotten in the way and caused them to completely reject the idea of peace. Tanya has a bit of a misunderstanding of strategic HQ as well here. She believes they are like her, logical to a fault and can see the bigger picture. She doesn't understand that they too can behave irrationally based on their pride.
