Pick back up and Finish Hell's Paradise season 2 and finish sentenced to be a hero were all sick and tired of waiting
Once you are done with Your lie in April, you have to do a reaction for the full Friend A OST. Every single time it comes on I tear up. Its sooo good.
You might hate us for now but you will thank us after its finished. Its a wild ride but unforgettable. And you get to hear the amazing OST along the way. Also, cant freaking wait for the next episode! Its my second favorite performance of the show! I love it so much. Just think, Nagi was such a random character that got thrown into the show, and here we are! As for Tsubaki, shes a kid, of course shes gonna make dumb decisions, like not tell him. But the school isnt a bad decision, if anything, shes DOING BETTER than before.
It will be interesting to see how Luke will rate this anime compared to other anime that made him cry. Angel Beats! Death Parade Made in Abyss, both seasons & movie Many ofther sad anime exist. So we got pleanty more should the need arise. The best medicine for sadness is laughter. I think a comedy anime would be something to consider.
I think you'd have a point about Tsubaki if she was going to a BAD high school to stay close to Kousei, but she isn't. if anything this is one of the only good decisions she's made, because even if things don't go anywhere with Kousei at least she worked hard and got herself into a good high school. There's no actual downsides to that.
It is funny how short this series is and yet how impactful it is to all of us. It is only 22 episodes long and yet made us feel emotional nearly every episode
Any update on avatar
Last week was cancelled due to PC issues. stream just ended for today so vod for 5-8 book 3 will be up tomorrow
I love this episode and this upcoming performance mucho
Bwaaaaaaahhhhh I need to watch the next episode (with you, Luke) now!
Tsubaki is his best childhood friend, of corse she would want to remain nearby. even if its just the same as its always been romantically. If she confesses her feelings someday and Kousei feels the same its a benefit. if they are separated then that confrontation will happen less likely.
the calendar. Just noticed it and how its always there. its used for the next performance and the next performance obviously but the subtle well now not so subtle impication. what time is left. Damn that just hit me pretty hard there.... Ugh. the other one was i mentioned earlier was i defiiitely see kaori as a gardiuan angel. meant to heal and push kosuei. now in turn hes almost doing the same to his "student". passing on the love of music. One other thing i wonder if we get to see the trains again. it seemed like for a while in the first half of the series they used trains a lot. granted thats a cutlural thing im sure just ever present but must have symbolic meaning too. maybe something about crossing paths or crossing worlds.
I am SO EXCITED for the next episode. The school festival performance is easily one of my favorite piano performances in the entire anime, and I know next episode is gonna make everyone feel so many things. I always love these reactions, and I appreciate having someone react to shows and actually letting themselves feel the things the show wants you to feel, rather than trying to show off how tough and strong they are by not being affected at all.
I’m sure other people have mentioned it but the double suicide quote that Kaori said was from the book she was reading in the hospital that Kousei had previously checked out at the library. If you look up what that book is, she is quoting the main character who is terminally ill. Since she knows that Kousei has read that book and understands the reference, he further realizes just how sick she might be.
just informing (not an angry message by any means): "lets commit double suicide" is a quote from a classic novel, it was shown that novel being in her room in the the last episode in the final scene, the quotation marks on her line was to indicate she was quoting the book, in this episode she says "i tough you would never come back" which is another quote from the same book after. quoting the book is basically a way to infer its message into her situation
Apparently there is a Japanese film for the novel, but ive never found it.
22:33 Luke basically said what we all were thinking lol
Tsubaki making a school decision like that based on love was indeed a dumb thing to do, but I think that for someone young, being crazy enough in love is enough a factor imo
Luke...you completely missed what Tsubaki is doing and it's a great life choice. She has been studying and trying to get into better high schools near Kousei target school.
"I feel like this anime is too short. I feel like we don't get enough. Maybe that's the point." Damn, Luke. That is an excellent take.
Imagine now if Haikyuu was only one or two seasons...
