I would watch a date episode of Bunny Girl Senpai, and you would as well, Luke. Just for the dialogue alone.
“I am on this train” Luke says about their relationship, when “I am on this ship” was right there for the taking…
One reason, I think, on why the villagers are staying is, it is more dangerous to travel. Just looking on what Frieren and party encountered at the start to that village is too much for normal people to travel to.
LotR is my number one trilogy, and I tell people all the time, Frieren is the LotR of anime, and it's my number 1, hands down, even though it's not finished. The immersion, the fantasy, the life lessons, the fact that I've watched this show probably 6-7 times or more now and I've never seen a single frame of bad animation.... just everything is perfect. It's pure.. I can go on. Just simply.. peak Omg now that I'm at that part of the video: I describe Frieren to people as slice of life... for a dnd party
Not to mention the OST, too
Stark was hitting all the bad choices with that date lol.... didnt compliment, didnt buy a gift, forced food, talked about other women...
Came running to check if you also got teary eyed t the reason Himmel did not chose the boat. I did not get disappointed
And how would Stark know about these things, Luke? He's pretty much known only fighting all his life. That's his first date, Sein would probably have helped him a lot if he was there.
Watched the entire thing. :)
Sein would have helped Stark immensely. Miss that guy a lot
This show just has that power to keep getting into your heart. It can do anything it wants and they have this formula to make it heartfelt and meaningful. If it keeps this up I would watch for 30 seasons.
I like Stark being clueless and making all the mistakes looks perfectly accurate. Raised in a warrior village, then raised by a warrior, people who are direct. He doesn't understand the implicit.
Especially since he spent most of his life with a dwarf and apparently no women. It makes sense. It also makes sense for Fern to still be disappointed regardless. Very human writing.
The only anime I would compare to Frieren is Mushishi. Very different setting but it gives similar vibes. Def worth watching but I don't think it would win a poll anytime soon.
Ehh, you sure you wouldn't be up for a kaguya sama date episode? I would say Oshi no ko too but that just sounds like a disaster waiting to happen.
Frieren is a walk in a park or botanic garden that you never seen before. Each week a new walk in a different part you didn't seen yet
Frieren have a special place in my heart from the start
Absolut fantastic Episode. PEAK
