Toji was hired by the Time Vessel Association that didn't want Tengen to be tainted by mixing it with the girl iirc. No clue if our brain sorcerer was behind it though. Geto's body did resist the brain back in season 2 but yeah I would say Geto is properly gone now and it was just the body resisting for a brief moment for the sake of his best friend Satoru.

Gojo wasn't dumb or reckless by destroying those tools. By nullifying CTs they render gojo's "shield" useless and were used to hurt him. The "Inverted Spear of Heaven" in the hands of Toji basically killed him.

Inverted spear of heaven was Tojis weapon, thats how he was able to pack Gojo thru the infinity before he learned to use the reverse curse technique. The Black rope was the weapon Miguel used in the movie against Gojo.

Even the actual manga of JJK in the culling games the most it's full of description of what you're seeing and in this episode it was entirely to review how the culling games actually work by giving you all the rules available before the said culling games begin. So you might as well focus on the narrative and the description in mid fights in the future episodes too! JJK is fully packed with everything i.e. action, drama, horrors, heck even comedy ;) But the most you 'only anime viewers' should focus the most are the subtitles on how the story is described as it progresses, cause at times JJK in itself is abit tedious to understand. But when you do, it (JJK) can be one hell of a ride! :)

You can't just kill Tengen, as Tengen is immortal. Also Toji was a hitman for hire, who was hired by a religious group, that didn't want Tengen to assimilate with the vessel. He doesn't know Kenjaku exists. The inverted spear of heaven was used to almost end Gojo's life, when Toji used it against him, so it makes sense Gojo will destroy it seal it, and the rope was used up against Gojo, he didn't willingly destroy, he just defended himself.

The Kill-and-Revive only works when reviving Yuji because Yuji is built different, and can be revived from being a corpse. For everyone who isn't Yuji, Reverse Curse Technique (RCT) cannot raise the dead.

As a manga reader, this episode presentation with the graphic design was amazingly well executed. And how much visuals put into this episode and not to mention make it more interesting with the colors and the animation of the graphic design. This is the most interesting to execute a yap session in an anime. So many amazing designs and presentation put into it. It way way way more better than the manga for readers to take in the explanation one by one.
