THEY FIGHT BACK!!! | Orb: On the Movements of the Earth - EPISODE 16 | REACTION!

Schmidt's voice actor is the same as Ains from Overlord

I think the conviction they hav is different as their world view is to them God is real, and blasphemy will get you into hell, they can't just bad mouth him as that blasphemy will lead to consequences such as eternal suffering in hell - Since God and his teachings are real blasphemy also becomes real. i really find it hard to get my head around, but people in those times lived in a very different world

Schmidt VA is ex. Rengoku or Ains or Sai. Can’t believe you didn’t catch that the guy with the black hair with gray standing fringe is Polnareff😉

Serious note I think it’s very easy to rationalize the actions of the church in Orb. Assuming good faith (lol), the church itself believes in society organized in an orderly, stratified, and hierarchical manner. The church is an administrator of this arrangement. So it would see forces that would seek to disrupt that hierarchy as fundamentally bad. Hence branding astronomers as heretics since their beliefs would fundamentally destabilize the order the church brings to life and society. Assuming bad faith, well we’ve seen that. Hypocrisy is the tribute that vice pays to virtue. And as for how it all conflicts with the ideology and teachings of the church. The beautiful thing about ideology is that it won’t win a fight against motivated reasoning. Sure maybe in my work for the church the things I do could, in a vacuum, be labeled as “evil”. Like torture and murder and stuff. But since I’ve been taught that doing things in the name of the church is good, and I don’t want to see myself as an evil person or feel bad about my job, then the evil things I’m doing are actually good. Wow now that’s a weight off my shoulders

I always thought Orb was the main character. And everyone else was the friends we made along the way (that died)

Unpopular opinion but Schmidt>Badeni. My GOAT

Aww you didn't react to the ending theme!

wooo orbin time

All new characters besides Antoni (who you recognized)!
